Enjoy your own spacious, modern home with 2 private waterfalls, a stream, and 3 natural pools to play in, on 20 private acres of pristine, rhododendron-filled forest in an exclusive gated community.

Relax on the front porch of this North Carolina mountain house, near Brevard, with your favorite beverage or book and enjoy the view and soothing sounds of your own private waterfall. Walk down to the waterfall to cool off, wade in the pool at the base of the waterfall, or just sit nearby and take it all in.

The very large master suite features a brand new king bed, large bathroom with shower and jetted tub, and walk-in closet.

Upstairs, you will find two more stylish king bedrooms and a room with two twin beds. All bedrooms enjoy the view and soothing sound of the waterfall.

Netflix and wifi are provided for your comfort and enjoyment, along with a small selection of toys and children's books, allowing you to pack light. Coffee, blow dryers, and all the usual amenities, as well.

We have chosen low- or no-VOC paints and finishes for the house, oeko-tex and certi-pur linens and mattresses, and other green/eco choices where possible for your health.

You'll have free reign of the house and entire 20 acres of pristine forest, including a stream, pond, waterfalls, and more. It is truly heaven on earth!

This home is very near the pristine Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests, and Dupont State Park as well as the brand new Headwaters State Forest. Nearby is the vaunted Headwaters Outfitters (fly fishing, kayak rental and so much more) and Forks of the River Taproom, as well as the Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute/The Learning Center at PARI, and Eastatoe Falls. Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and Sierra Nevada Brewery's incredible sprawling property are all less than 45 minutes away (plan to spend a full day at this amazing destination!). The Blue Ridge Parkway is about 20 minutes nearby, and the Biltmore 40. Lake Toxaway is 15 minutes away and beautiful, award-winning Lake Jocassee 30-35 minutes away. Lake Keowee is about 45 minutes away. It's just 15 minutes or so to downtown Brevard with its restaurants, shops, and breweries, less than an hour to Asheville, Clemson University, Furman University, and Greenville, SC. Kayaking, tubing, rafting, ziplining, and all the sights and extensive outdoor activities of Western North Carolina are within reach.

Inside our gated community are miles of roads and trails through a natural environment, though it won't take you long at all to get out the gate and onto the main roads. Nearby are extensive road and mountain biking trails.

We absolutely LOVED Waterfall House! That view from the front porch is nothing short of magical. The house had everything we needed & was the perfect setting for our “Friends That Have Become Family” weekend trip! The beds were comfy, the house was immaculately cleaned and stocked with all the supplies we needed. The jacuzzi bathtub in the master bedroom was nice and relaxing after a day of climbing & descending steps & walking the gorgeous nature trails on the property. Can’t recommend this location enough!!

“The Waterfall House” says it all!

What an absolutely amazing and peaceful home. I enjoyed my coffee every morning in the porch listening to the waterfall. I never wanted to leave! The house was super clean and comfortable and we plan on staying again!

Fabulous stay

This was our second stay at the Waterfall House and we enjoyed it even more than last year. The hosts were communicative and helpful. Clean, comfortable and spacious house on a private, secluded property with a wonderful little waterfall to relax by. The kids had the best time climbing on the waterfall and playing in the creek. Only a 20 minute drive from Brevard with lots of great hikes nearby. We love this place and highly recommend it!

This was our second time here, and we still love it. The hosts are great at responding to messages and actually know their property (which seems rare nowadays). The waterfall is great for kids to play in, and Brevard, Pisgah, and Dupont are really close by. There is some gravel road in the neighborhood, so if you have a sedan or other low-riding car, take that into consideration. AWD isn't necessary if you take it slow/easy (our minivan did fine), but it's reassuring to have it (both getting to the house, and on some gravel roads in Pisgah)

Annual Trip

We had a wonderful weekend stay with family at The Waterfall House in Rosman, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The children had an amazing time climbing the waterfall and playing near the stream, creating unforgettable memories in the beautiful natural surroundings. The adults enjoyed relaxing on the front porch in comfortable chairs, watching the children play and taking in the peaceful scenery. The house itself is beautifully furnished, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Brevard, just 20 minutes away, offered a charming downtown with everything we could want. The reservations process was smooth and easy, making the entire experience even better.

A Truly Memorable Vacation!

We were fortunate to end up in the Waterfall House during Hurricane Helene. Dwayne the homeowner has definitely taken great care of the property with frequent tree evaluations and a working generator with regular maintenance. I'm convinced Scotty the property manager is superman! The neighbors all banded together to make sure everyone was safe - Sherry is an angel! We had a truly magical and comfortable stay in the home and loved seeing the waterfall in all its glory! Definitely would visit again with a different weather forecast!

Great home on an wonderful property

We absolutely loved our time at the Waterfall House! The house was immaculate, the kitchen was well-appointed, the beds were comfortable and the views from the windows are gorgeous. The hosts were friendly and very responsive to my many questions. The property is very secluded and private - no neighbors in sight, except for the waterfall! That said, Brevard is only 20 minutes away if you want to go to town. Make sure you screenshot the directions and the WiFi information. We lost reception on the way but were able to use our phones with no issue once we were in range of the WiFi and enabled WiFi calling. The driveway is not steep compared to other places we’ve stayed, but you do need to be prepared to drive on a gravel road for a little bit to get there. The property itself is amazing. Our whole family had the best time climbing the waterfall and playing in the creek. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to come again!

Beautiful Home

The Waterfall House is the perfect spot for a peaceful get away. The waterfall across from the home is beautiful and so relaxing and there are many trails to explore on the property. The home was very clean and had all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable. My family and I enjoyed the fire pit and the porches. The location is not far from Brevard and some of the many waterfalls in the area. I would definitely recommend the Waterfall House for a relaxing stay.

Peaceful Retreat

The peace and quiet was tranquil. The only sound was the gentle noise of the waterfall in front of the house. The home was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Various falls and hikes nearby. The hosts were great! Our youngest lost his hat somewhere along our trip. The hosts searched the house, found it hiding under a couch cushion, and mailed it to us. So thankful.

The Waterfall House

I am a bit familiar with the area but didn’t expect this at all, the house as you pull up is hard to find, driveway is nice which is a luxury in these parts, once you get out of the car the waterfall greets you in the most pleasant manner. The house is welcoming and tidy, comes with what you need aside from comforts but overall an amazing place to stay, my family, friends and I enjoyed our stay so much we might be going back soon, trails within walking distance, waterfall right in front of the house, fire pit is amazing, if you want nature with a house in it this is the place!

Lovely weekend

I loved our stay in this home. The master bedroom was spacious enough to have a pack n play for my one year old (not always the case!) and my other four children were thrilled with being able to see and hear the waterfall out of the upstairs windows. Everything was very, very clean. It’s not a huge house, but layout and furnishings made it feel roomy even with my in-laws (9 total guests). We were thrilled with the stream, waterfalls, and little trails to follow. It was just perfect for us to retreat after time in the Pisgah Forest. My little ones were able to rest but my big kids still had *plenty* to do outside. 100% will be recommending to friends and family!

Great front porch

Overall a wonderful home with a running waterfall in the front of home. We sat on front porch enjoying a drink, talking and listening to that gorgeous waterfall. Only thing our guys were disappointed they could not fish in the creek due to possible fish hooks being left behind. They got over that and found several nearby fishing holes to spend their time at. The home is clean and ready to enjoy. Only recommendation is some of the pots need replacing. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing your home :)

Waterfall Wonderland

Great house and such a unique property. Love the remote location. Enjoyed the waterfalls and hikes and fire pit with our family. We think a hot tub would be a great addition outside. The only inconvenience we had to deal with was the bathroom situation upstairs. One is not enough with 5 adults and 2 small children staying up there. Everything else was great. We would stay again.

We stayed at the Waterfall House for a week The house has all the modern conveniences you could want Outside you see a lovely waterfall and stream In the surrounding woods you will spot deer and other wildlife as you walk the private road You are not far from several towns if you want to venture out for some shopping or food Melissa is just a phone call or text away if you have any questions If have been coming to the area for over 15 years to see the leaves change The Waterfall House is certainly the best accommodation we have found We were sorry to leave this very special place

Wonderful Trip

The Waterfall House was perfect for us! We went with one other family. There were 5 kids under 7, and we couldn't have been happier. Beautiful home, beautiful location. Lots to do on the property. The kids loved the creek and waterfall. Melissa, the property manager, was super helpful and responsive. Great place! We hope to return.

Wonderful Stay at the Waterfall House

As our grandchildren said, the Waterfall House was awesome! The house is lovely, spacious, and very well equipped. The property is amazing - 12 acres with hiking trails and a fabulous waterfall facing the front porch. We had such a great time hiking both the trails and up and down the stream and waterfalls. From 3 years old to 76, everyone loved it, and our host was very responsive to any questions or needs we had.

Perfect Stay

The location of this property is unbelievably beautiful. Although we spent most of our time hiking in the Pisgah National Forest, it would be easy to hang around their house and property for the day. Everything went flawlessly and we would rent this home again. There was a distance to drive to any activity but that is expected in this area as it’s not a place for those who need city-type stimulation and amenities.

Beautiful location and home

The first thing we noticed when getting out of our car - the sound of a nearby waterfall. In the light of the next morning, we could see just how close we were to something from a magazine. A picturesque waterfall visible from the porch and windows across the front of the house. The house itself was also great, with nice linens and finishes. But the setting was perfect for us and we hope to return in the future
