PLEASE DONT PASS UP MY REVIEW. Thank me later. I know I didn’t choose to stay at the Hyatt or anything but Laquinta has typically been a great choice for years. $100 per night this place is a God honest waste. It’s maybe worth $45/night. GENUINELY!!! The room was the most underwhelming part of my stay. The initial photos and ratings do this place absolutely no justice. I had to switch rooms upon arrival because my room REEKED of smoke and the maintenance tech left tools everywhere. The room that I was switched to didn’t smell of smoke but the entire building smelled like a stale old motel 8 (if you catch my drift). I think a mix of the carpet and other smells just made it very unpleasant. Low quality bed sheets. Low quality towels (like dollar tree towels). Stains all over the walls, furniture & ceiling. I didn’t want to take my shoes off for the entire stay. This is the type of place you don’t “choose” to stay. You can literally hear your neighbor next door there’s no sound privacy. I could hear the person next door having s**, the bed was bumping against the wall. The staff was nice and pleasant but that’s literally the only pleasant thing I encountered about my stay. The breakfast food was ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. It’s buffet style but everything is frozen, microwaved to cook so it’s no flavor. The server wore no gloves. You have to call front desk to learn how to turn the air on. Turn the wall unit on then turn the window unit. The tv had basic antenna stations.
