Slice of Heaven

What a beautiful area. So quiet and peaceful while still walking distance to the covered bridge. The weather did not cooperate for us so we weren't able to enjoy the deck and fire pit (homeowner made sure wood was in waterproof bin-very much appreciated!) as much as we'd hoped. House isn't too far from town, but the roads are slooowwww (and incredibly scenic!), so going into town is a bit of a pain. Internet is non-existent which means tv is restricted to a couple of channels, with no option for Netflix, etc...kind of a bummer when it's raining non-stop, and there is absolutely no cell phone service. The kitchen had everything one could need-right down to an array of spices. Coffee pot is a small 4 cup-er, but there is a Keurig. Unfortunately the dryer was out of service which was a big bummer when you're there to fish, and it's raining non-stop. We intentionally pick places with a washer/dryer in case we need to dry wet fishing clothes.Overall though, it was a nice time away. Played A LOT of cards, had a lot of laughs and made some wonderful memories.

Annual Fly Fishing Trip

The house worked great for our group of 6 guys on our annual fly fishing trip. First floor master suite was a nice surprise. The long flight of stairs to upstairs befrooms presented a little challenge for a couple of our older members. Other than that, nice location and very comfortable. Just a short trip to the Upper Beaverkill and Willowemoc.

Wedding weekend

We came in for a wedding for the weekend. We chose this property because it was the only one I could find that was handicap accessible and close to the venue. The owner was very nice to leave the garage door open and the lights on for our arrival. The property and house were spotless. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if there had been shampoo, soap (one bar for two showers) and some coffee for the first morning. Especially since there are no stores close by. I would also suggest having an iron . Nice to have when traveling and going to a wedding.

Beautiful mountain vacation stay

The house was perfectly located and well appointed kitchen made cooking our fresh fish catches delish. The beds were comfy and the location was idyllic, calm and tranquil. The kids enjoyed seeing deer in the yard almost daily. Wifi worked perfectly. We cannot wait to stay again next year!

Catskill Fly

First visit to the Catskills. The object of the trip was to see and fish the famous rivers of the mountains. We were able to get on the upper Beaverkill and the Willowemoc for a wade trip and a float trip on the West branch of the Delaware. The float was 13 miles of prime trout water ending in the pitch black of night. The guides were more than knowledgeable and more hard working than I have seen on other trips. The house was immaculate, well stocked and a perfect location. Don’t let the secret out. One small suggestion from early morning coffee drinkers, maybe a larger coffee pot, not that we didn’t make do. We would definitely stay there again. We have already agreed to return.

Like being at home

This house(home) is in excellent condition, it is well appointed and is clean and fresh. Everything is clean and new, mattresses, bedding, some new appliances and everything works. Management was quick to respond to a problem and helpful making things right. It’s away from the bustle and is a nice country settings. It’s set up more for family but works for couples if you sleep separately. One queen bed in the master and five singles in two other nicely decorated bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again if we were in the area.

Nice quiet house in the Catskills. Great location for hiking on the Finger lakes Trail.

The house is spacious and everything was easy to find. We settled in quickly and enjoyed our stay. As this is a new listing, I have a couple of suggestions for improvements. Some extra pillows for the beds would be nice. A lot of people like two pillows rather than just the one on each bed. It would also be better if there was another double bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms. All the twin beds are great for a big family. But we were two couples, leaving one couple having to sleep separately. In the kitchen, we wished there were some additional smaller pots. We did have an issue with the freezer not working and I reported it to the owner, who responded right away and apologized.
