This is a lovely hotel with a wonderful staff and in an excellent location. It is easy walking distance from the train station and right off the main shopping and restaurants. It is also near the museum which is a must-see. The bottom floor holds a surprise; I won’t ruin it for you and you will have to see for yourself!

We had a reservation at a sister-property the "Erzscheidergarden". Reservation was made through Expedia. When we got there the Erzscheidergarden was locked up for the season. It was raining, cold and miserable and very difficult to get anyone at the reference number on the door. Of course, Expedia (or Expedia's computers) really doesn't care and no one at the hotel had the courtesy to contact us. We eventually reached someone at the Roros Hotell, it's sister property. We stayed there instead. Maia, the front desk person was a delight and took very good care of us. The room at the Roros Hotell was not luxurious but was very good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was terrific!
