A lovely host, very responsive and helpful. The apartment is in a great location, easy access to public transportation. We had basics we needed (but no coffee machine which was surprising for Italy). The bedrooms looked a bit different from the photos in terms of the furniture and were a bit dark, and the carpet on the floor gives me that extra dark feel but overall, we enjoyed our stay (we really only came on to sleep as we were out all day).

Giovanna was a very responsive host. My real disappointment was that the beautiful garden/patio seem on the web site is not accessible for her apartment. Be sure to see Paola and Step at the Versatile coffee shop across the street! They are so much fun!! And the baked goods are fresh every day!

Giovanna was an excellent and easily reached host for this beautiful and quiet flat 15min walk from the Ottaviano metro stop and the Vatican. A little slice of peace for our family during an otherwise bustling visit to Rome. Highly recommend for families.

A Home Away from Home

Our stay at this property was fantastic! Giovanna is an excellent and caring host! Her warm welcome and kindness were key features for us. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and provides everything you might need. There is a nice supermarket nearby, as well as several restaurants. The walk to the Vatican is pleasant and very convenient. The apartment offers all the amenities you need for a wonderful and relaxing stay. Comfortable apartment in a charming neighborhood

We loved our stay at this great apartment. Everything was just as described, and Giovanna was an excellent host. We enjoyed many of the restaurants in the neighborhood, especially the Versatile cafe across street. We also appreciated the proximity to the bus stop and the fact that we were within walking distance of the Vatican. Highly recommend!

Amazing Vatican Stay!

Giovanna was great, really responsive to all our questions. Super nice quiet residential neighborhood. Cafe and grocery at the corner. All bedrooms closed off completely with well insulated doors for our late sleepers. 5 people stayed and we'd all love to stay there again.

Perfect location near local transportation

This property is located ten minute walk to vatican or short bus ride. 5 min walk to the subway that gets you to most major attractions of Rome. The host set up our pickup from the airport and met us at the check-in. Would definitely book this apartment again.

This apartment was very clean, comfortable beds and a nice area, however it’s incredibly impractical with a shower that is like an ice rink with low water power, the steps in unexpected places were as dangerous as the shower especially for children and older people. Black floors, walls and dull lighting felt a little like living in a cave. Everywhere needs an update I’m afraid. Having the photo of the garden in the advertisement is misleading as it is owned by a neighbour so you can’t use it. I could list far more annoying things about this apartment but this review would be never ending. If you are looking for luxury I’m afraid you won’t find it here, the apartment certainly didn’t match the price we paid.

Home away from home.

The apartment was exactly what we expecting from the pictures posted. Air conditioning was definitely an asset as Rome was in the middle of +30’s for our entire stay. Grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants and pizzerias abound on every corner. Bus and train just around the corner. Walking distance to tourist attractions as well. Giovanna our host was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make our stay easier. Highly recommend!!

A Nice Place to Stay

The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and was very attentive to our needs. It’s a bit off the beaten path, which is both good and bad, but there is a supermarket and some good places to eat in easy walking distance. The subway was a bit of a walk and we needed to use Ubers (linked to ITTaxi) to get around because of the heat, but the apartment was a great place to come back to and call “home” while we were in Rome.

Modern apartment in great location!

This apartment was an excellent find for our trip to Rome this spring. Situated close to metro and delicious dining options, it is a nicely updated ground-floor two bedroom with all the amenities and conveniences you’d expect. The neighborhood is quiet and un-touristy, so there’s a fair bit of quiet at night. We felt safe getting to and from the apartment from transit and dinner, and with the modern windows we hardly heard a thing of the outside world. Our host was Giovanna and she was kind and helpful at check in, and walked us through some of the best restaurants and areas to explore around the apartment. Would gladly come back next time we’re in Rome!

The apartment is very spacious and well furnished. It is on the ground floor (just a very few steps up) and in a congenial neighborhood but a long way from sites of interest. We used the taxi app Free Taxi which worked beautifully. The apartment sacrifices some convenience in exchange for design (like a handsome tiny bathroom) but all-in-all we were very comfortable and happy. I’ll save the best for last. Giovanna was an outstanding host - responsive and helpful. And the neighborhood restaurants are outstanding. No need to look beyond Bono I Vino, Osteria Scalone (just steps away and EXCELLENT) and Un Angelo di Sicilia (eat late and inside). A fine small super market is nearby as well. Go for it!!!

An Awesome Stay !!!!

I will start by saying that Giovanna is an amazing hostess ! From arranging car services to and from the airport and our cruise ship to making local recommendations for restaurants and site seeing, etc.... Giovanna also offered to drive us to the convenient store to get some groceries at a local convenient store as we arrived late on a Sunday night and everything was closed. This neighborhood is amazing ! It took a minute to get our bearings as the street is fairly unsuspecting for a vacation rental, however once the sun rises and the coffee shop (Versatile Cafe) up the block opens for business, this neighborhood is alive and wonderful ! Easy access to taxi rides, buses and a healthy walk to the subway. The apartment has a great layout and everything that you need. The only negative (the good by far outweighs the bad) was that it had a little wear and tear that is not noticed on the pictures, although Giovanna said that they will be painting soon (And I believe her !). We had one minor complaint with a few small items and Giovanna was all over it and fixed everything to our liking. Did I say she was great ?! :) Our favorite part of this neighborood was Versatile cafe, Paulo and Stefania run this establishment and we were like part of their family by the time we left. Our kids were so excited to wake up every morning and run across the street by themselves to comfortably order their favorite croissants and treats that Paulo and Stefania gladly prepared for them. The neighborhood is safe, the building is very cool and the apartment / Giovanna were great ! Ciao !
