This was a great Hotel. It is situated that everything is in walking distance. The staff are so helpful that it makes it a very pleasant stay. There is a great ice cream place just over the road. Great breakfast as well.
On my way to Cairo we stayed one night on the way and another night on our way back. I read in most reviews that the beds were hard, so I was already waiting for that, but we were so tired we didn't even notice if they were hard. I can only tell you that we slept incredible well and we woke up with no back pain at all, I even felt completely rested. The staff was incredible, they helped us with city maps, very helpful with everything. Our phone wasn´t working and they quickly came and fixed it. The breakfast was perfect! And we even had room service one night and even though I have had better pasta, it was ok and the size of the plates were large! This will definitely be my recommendation for a hotel in rome in this price range. Bathroom was very clean! The room was small but the spaces have been so well used you won't notice the size of the room. Great hotel!
We recently stayed at the twenty one hotel in Rome and were a little disappointed with a few aspects of the hotel. The overall appearance of the hotel is very nice and the cleanliness is good. Location is excellent. However, I don’t believe that the hotel lives up to its 4* rating. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable, might as well sleep on floor. Along with the pillows and bedding it is not up to standard. We found the staff to be unwilling to give any help at all. On check in we expected to be given some good information about the city and a map as well. Only given this on request one evening. When checking out, all they were after were our money, not how our stay was at the hotel and was it to our satisfaction. Breakfast is very limited and boring after a few days. Bar prices are extortionate (€8 for a beer). Overall not impressed at all with this hotel, expect more from a 4* rating. Wouldn’t recommend staying here
We spent 3 nights in Rome on a family holiday recently and stayed at the Twentyone Hotel. The room was clean and was available for early check in (our flight landed at 7am and we were at the hotel by 9am), so kudos to the reception team for facilitating this. However, the room was a very odd shape - long and narrow. It was almost as though they had some spare space after designing the layout and decided to squeeze out a spare room from the remaining space. The bed was round, which was interesting to say the least. That also meant sleeping in the middle of the bed if you wanted to stretch out fully without having your feet hanging over the bed. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and was served downstairs each morning. The spread of food was more or less similar each day, and was your typical continental breakfast with some Italian breads and pastries included. The coffee was really good, and the double macchiatos were a great way to kickstart the day. All things considered, it was a comfortable place to spend a few nights in Rome.
We stayed here for 4 nights in November. It was my second stay. Room was very small for two, very dark and giving to another building's hall which was noisy with loud music. They have good breakfast but filter coffee was burnt for 3 days and also during my previous stay. Front desk operators are friendly except one of them whom I don't recall her name. One day after we returned to our room, we couldn't open our safe with our code and when we tried by mistake 1234 it opened. Our code was for sure changed by someone because the interior of the safe was not the same as we left it but we are not sure if cash was taken. The manager is helpful and respectful and offered us city tax and minibar for this very bad inconvenience.
We stayed in mid-November for two nights. Very helpful and attentive reception staff. Lots of nice shops and eateries in the area. Easy walk to the Vatican and the northern part of the city, but we used the bus to get to the Colosseum. The room was more spacious than I had expected, and facing an inner courtyard/lightwell, away from the road (with a little noise from a bar below, though nothing too serious). I would stay here again.
Excellent hotel, good location very good breakfast with a very good choice and the coffee freshly prepared for you. The staff are very polite and friendly and provide good service. Beautiful modern rooms, plenty of hot water, we asked for a kettle and it was provided straight away
Awesome boutique hotel. Room was excellent. Bathroom was stunning...all black tile and chrome...gorgeous. Really great location....20 minute walk to the Vatican and 10 min. walk to Piazza del Papalo. Very safe neighborhood...we walked a lot. Great shopping, restaurants around the area. The Twentyone bistro served a wonderful buffet breakfast every day and we generally had a glass of wine and munchie late in the day. The front desk staff were super....our room was ready early in the day when we checked in and they accommodated every request we had. Want to go stay there again. The only thing that was not great was the temperature of the room. It was always very warm....I like the temp cooler, but the window opened so we just turned off the heat.
The hotel is very central to everything I personal did not like the food but that's everyone choice the beds was hard the room we had you could hear the road noise it was very clean some of the staff was not that friendly except for Erica was more than helpful .
Room: good. Bathroom: really good. Overall cleanliness: very good. Windows: bad noise isolation. The existing wardrobe is very small. It has no shelves. Breakfast: very good; nice choices. Position: not in the heart of the city, but on a large central street Close to Vatican and Castle I consider to come back again here; I would recommend it
