My husband and I along with our 2 friends shared a 2 bedroom unit for 3 nights in March. We got a warm reception from Luigi upon our arrival. The unit was very clean, just renovated, and had modern furnishings in the living/kitchen area. The beds were very comfortable, the shower had good water pressure and having the washing machine/dryer in the unit was very convenient. We had our breakfast in the unit before heading out sightseeing for the day. Mia, at the office, was really helpful. The apartment was very convenient, in a quiet street, just a few blocks from the metro stop in Piazza del Popolo with good restaurants and shops nearby. There is a supermarket down the street as well. I would go back and stay there the next time I am in Rome
We visited Rome 5 days in april with 5 adults. This appt is a perfect place to be, downtown and near (fancy) shops, restaurants and points of interest. We had appt B6. This appt. has a nice terrace, one master bedroom, a large bathroom and a living with a large sofabed. In the attic there are 2 seperate beds and a small bathroom. Here the ceiling is rather low for tall people (we are exept for 1 all approx 2 meters) specially the bathroom has a low ceilling and the shower upstairs is small. Great for kids but for tall people not so comfortable. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Reception is very friendly and the restaurant next to this app is perfect!
The hotel receptionist Precious was courteous and informative and she was able to accommodate our early check-in request after a red-eye flight from NY. The apartment was spacious, clean and bright. The best feature was the balcony which had nice garden furniture and a beautiful view of the Spanish rooftops. The restaurant located in the courtyard, Babette, had excellent service and food. The hotel was a short walk away from the Spanish Steps and the popular Via del Corso with plenty of shopping and cafes/restaurants.
We were two families, 4 adults and 3 children (8, 6 and 4) and spent 4 nights at Piazzetta Margutta last week. We enjoyed our stay there. We had a cosy little apartment with three rooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining table and living area. There were also two balconies with some furniture and nice views. The apartment is done up with nice bright water colours and there's gorgeous sunshine that streams through the windows. The staff was very efficient at check-in, providing us with all information and a handy map. My husband has a heart condition and they immediately gave us numbers of the closest hospital, ambulance and taxi in case we needed to use them. The location of the apartment was the biggest plus. Its a 5 minute walk from the Spanish Steps and Piazza Popolo. The taxi stand is right there so its easy to get to any place in Rome from the apartment. The area is full of tourists and locals and is safe to be out even at night. If you are looking for an apartment in a central location, you won't be disappointed with this one!
We booked an apartment (B5) for our family trip. 7 of us including 3 teenagers (17, 16 and 14). The apartment was very comfortable with 2 bathrooms. We cooked in the apartment most nights and the kitchen was well appointed. All beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. The staff were easily contactable before and during the stay. The welcome and orientation to the area including directions to the grocery store etc was greatly appreciated. It was a 30min walk (slow) to the Vatican and the Colosseum. A wonderful location for a long or short stay. 5 Stars from us!
My wife and I spent a couple weeks at Piazzetta. Located at the beginning of Via Margutta (of legendary fame from the song "Arrivederci Roma"), it is within walking distance of many of Rome's popular sites, as well as close to the public transportation hub of Piazzale Flaminio. Our unit was quiet and spacious, with plenty of storage cabinets in the bedroom and living room. No kitchen pantry, though, and no towel racks or other useful hooks in the bathroom. There is a TV set in the living room, and another in the bedroom, but we never turned them on, preferring to devote every minute to viewin Roime. The staff was helpful and generally available onsite even after hours. When visiting Rome, we usually stay at another similar outfit in Via Ripetta, a few blocks away, but if they are booked, we gladly turn to Piazzetta, if available. Advice: to book, contact Piazzetta directly, and you're likely to get a much better price than going through online intermediaries such as Booking and Expedia.
Great location, very comfortable and spacious apartment. Freshly maintenanced and renovated. A bit more expensive, than the others, but really good quality for the adequate value. Nice and quite place, right in a few steps from Poppola.
Location Its on one end of via Margutta above a courtyard that has a nice restaurant. The courtyard also has a couple of boutiques and the office of MyExtra Home. Staff is available from around 9 to 5. Margutta has many art galleries and small boutiques. The parallel street has stores of the much larger brands. A 24x7 Carrefour express grocery store is a 5 min. walk away. Apartment Complex has a lift and our apartment was on 2nd Floor. There is a small patio (with chairs and a table) which has its own locked grill for added safety. The living hall was large with 1 double and 1 single sofa beds. Sofa beds were of good quality. There is a bluetooth speaker + dock for music and a flat screen tv. Kitchen was fully equipped - large fridge, stove with hood, toaster, coffee maker, dish washer, sink and lots pans, plates, glasses and spoons. There was a small room with a washing machine + dryer, iron and a well stocked first aid box. The bedroom has closet space. The bathroom was the only slight letdown. The tub is tiny and its difficult to take a shower in it especially since the drain was small / choked so the water would tend to fill very fast even when you didnt want it to. But they do give you toiletries, toilet paper etc. Staff is very helpful and are available at the ground floor office for soap, toilet paper, tour bookings, to call a taxi etc. Professionally run apartment complex in a great location having everything that one needs.
Great location near Piazza del Popolo and walking distance (30 mins max) for all major attractions. We had a 2BR / 2 bathroom apartment which was perfect for the family of 4. Bathroom had washing machine which was handy after 3 weeks away. The unit itself was spacious, well presented and clean and reasonable value given hotel room prices in Rome.
Perfect location to get to all the sites. The apartment had everything we needed even a terrace that we could hang out at after a long day of site seeing. I highly recommend this property. It made our vacation.
