This is a very large apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with nice showers. It’s located in a nice area along a shopping street. There is an elevator, which was handy bc the unit is on the 5th floor. We had reliable internet while we were there.There is a washing machine, but guests are not allowed to use it. We hand washed our clothes but there was no drying rack available. It would have been helpful to have a 2nd key to the property, as well as a 2nd hair dryer. It was quite chilly in the apartment, so a couple of space heaters and blankets would have been handy. The mattress in the front bedroom needs to be replaced, but back bedroom was very comfy. If you are looking for a big place for your money, this is it. Just don’t expect a cozy Italian village feel or a lot of amenities.

The host was non responsive to questions asked prior to arrival. Upon reaching Rome, we finally received check in information. The a/c was not working and after contacting host, she told us "the former tenant must have changed it."??? Light bulbs were missing or incorrect ones, leaving little light. It was supposed to be non smoking, but cigarette pack was found under dresser (is still there), lid to kitchen trash can was used as an ashtray, leaving horrible smoky smell, fan didn't work in bedroom, and there was a musty odor to entire apartment. I would not recommend this to anyone. It is not a well maintained or cleaned property. Also, on informational books were outdated and virtually no information regarding taxi service, buses, etc.Unfortunately, the iron did tip over and scorch the desk (no ironing board) and one towel. I will submit these to insurance as I took record of item number on bottom of desktop.
