All the staff at the reception, concierge, dining and housekeeping were very efficient and helpful. It was our wedding anniversary and they had upgraded us and a bottle of prosecco was sent to our room. A special thanks to Vanessa at the reception.
The room was huge and very comfortable. The staff are really fantastic. For us was very nice ,close to the Borghese Gardens, which is an amazing green zone in the middle of Rome. A lot of coffee shops, shops and of course Harry"s Bar with life music.
Overall, we thought this hotel was good. Staff were amazing. Hotel was clean and the location was great. There were a few maintenance issues in our room, but we didn't tell the hotel and instead just dealt with them (toilet kept running water and the shower would release boiling hot water every time we took a shower). The air conditioning in our room didn't work. We used the windows to cool down the room and then shut them again to warm the room up. The bed wasn't that comfortable as it was too hard for me, but that's my personal preference. Our room was very dark due to where it was in the hotel, but we liked that the room was a normal (USA standards) size and not a tiny room. The only other thing that was really annoying were the room door handles - it actually hurt your hand to use it. The door handle theme was throughout the hotel - this was a shame because although they are nice and shiny (metal) they are not at all user friendly!! I have never experienced this in a hotel before - trendy over usefulness doesn't work. The shampoo / shower gel and conditior, while were designer, were really bad - designers should stick to making clothes and assessories and not produce poor quality wash products. My hair felt like straw - we went to the store and bought our own shampoo, conditioner and body wash the very next day. Having said this, I thought the hotel was great.
Godd overall have no issue the only maybe the view that was given was not that good but than the staff were friendly enough to change the room. I would recommend this place as this is the third stay for us
My stay at this hotel was really great. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location on via vittorio veneto is perfect, such beautiful palaces line the street. The room was huge and very comfortable. The staff are really fantastic. I was greeted with a smile wherever I went within the hotel, from the reception staff, the spa staff to the doorman and conscierge. All so sweet, kind and helpful. I am a regular visitor to Rome and I would certainly reccommend this hotel and I would surely stay again.
Really enjoyed the hotel. Initially had booked an apartment but got let down last minute. The hotel were excellent. Really helpful staff. Rooms were great with exceptional decor. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Hotel is near Metro though walking distance from Spanish Steps,& Trevi Fountain. Hundreds of restaurants to choose from nearby. Breakfast buffet has a variety of cold cuts, breads and pastries. You can also choose from the a la carte menu if you prefer a hot dish.
Easy access to public transport gets you into the heart of Rome in minutes. Plenty of local shops and restaurants to choose from. Very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet could have a few more items.
very nice grand hotel in via Veneto, walking distance to many sights; we found the service to be absolutely impeccable and the real asset of this luxurious hotel; from doorman to room cleaner, we totally appreciated devotion, commitment and attitude to make guests have the most wonderful experience...BRAVI!
Great location, nice room set up. To improve the mattress quality ( I find it quite poor for the level of the hotel). The breakfast below average, selection and cooked food to improve, the cooked food below average for the level of the hotel
