Stayed 5 nights in early October. Hotel is in a good location a short walk from Rome Termini railway station which is also the intersection of the two Metro lines (two stops from the Colesseum) and the bus terminal (Bus no 40 runs from here to the Vatican via the city centre). There is also a direct train link (Leonardo Express) from Fiumicino Airport, so for transport links the hotel could hardly be better. Also within the immediate vicinity of the hotel are a couple of excellent museums, the vast Roman Baths ruins complex, numerous restaurants (we had good meals at two establishments across the street), and a collection of small shops: Gregorys supermarket across the road was cheapest for small bottles of water and the Tobacconist directly opposite the hotel sells Roma Passes. The hotel itself is fairly small. The reception area is clean and tidy but uninspiring with a single lift (not really an issue because of hotel size). Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are also fairly small but very clean and in good condition. Housekeeping was excellent. Wi-fi works perfectly. Our only grumble would be the amount of storage space; essentially just the wardrobe and some very small bedside cupboard drawers. A nice touch was the extra pillows provided as standard. The rooftop breakfast area has views of the immediate area and offered a good selection of food. Generally we were very happy with this hotel: good location, good breakfast, good housekeeping. Ideal for a short break in Rome.
Stayed there for 3 nights with my husband early birthday celebrations, it is great location 5 min walk to station and tour bus station if you plan for sightseeing we did 2day tour well worth it as there is a lot to see..ltsabout. 20minutes walk to trevdi fountain, Clean room rooms, bed was a bit hard, bathroom small size, lift small. So could do with small changes. The rooftop breakfast areas was really pleasant and so was our breakfast which really made added bonus to my stay. The staff friendly. Have no problems during my stay. There is great pizza place directly opposite the hotel it's very busy, if you don't to want to travel far dinner.
There are three of us meet up in Rome to attend a meeting. This place was the winner with three rooms at close to last minutes. I am always a bit worried at big properties in Italy, 9 of the 10 times are not managed too well. This one was okay but not great. Good bed, small room, clean bathroom. We were out the door the next day at 9;00 AM. No fuss.
We booked for 3 nights. When we arrived the receptionist said: "we are over booked, you need to go to another hotel tonight, here is the location (drawing an X on a map) and you should return tomorrow for the other two nights. Don't worry, you don't need to pay anything else". We insisted that we booked a few weeks ago and that we wanted the room that we booked. The receptionist replied: you can either go or sleep on the couch of our lobby. We asked to stay on the other hotel for the 3 nights but they said that it wasn't possible. We should be back on the next day. On the next day we talked with the manager who said that this situation was normal. That he couldn't prevent this. They only check if they are over booked on the day before and then they need to decide who can't stay based on their preference (number of the days staying, etc). It can happen even with people that booked 6 months before. He said that the law allows them to move us to another hotel of the same category even for one of the days. Well, over booking can be acceptable to them but not to us. Showing the couch as an alternative is not nice either.
We picked this hotel as it was close to the train station but also used it as our main base to walk to all the main tourist attractions of Rome. Theres a Metro stop at the train station if you'd rather. The hotel is adequate for its purpose. The room is small but clean with a nice ensuite. We made use of the room safe and same day dry cleaning service. There was some street noise at night. We were on the second floor overlooking the entrance. Id probably recommend a higher room if possible. Breakfast was fine; pastry, fruit, cereal, bread, coffee, juice and cakes.. All the staff were pleasant and helpfull.
room and bathroom are clean, good towels, breakfast is average served on the rooftop with a good view, front desk is well informed and helpful, hotel needs some restoration, well located near trainstation and other transports, oveerall for the price its good
Located 5 mins walk from Termini Station (if you're a slow walker) and another 5 mins walk from the best gelato in Rome, the hotel has a great, central location. The rooms are tidy and decent by Rome standards. The staff is friendly and special credit should go to Antonio who is always willing to impart his local knowledge, sometimes to the detriment of your waistline;) Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Picked this based on price and easy walking distance from Termini. Pleasant surprise. Clean, comfortable and helpful people. Quiet too, nevertheless the position in a busy street. An ectremely good alternative to larger, and more expensive hotels, and to stay far from the center.
Picked this based on price and easy walking distance from Termini. Pleasant surprise. Clean, comfortable and nice people. Quiet too! They must have outlawed indiscriminant horn honking. Used to stay out of town to get away from it. Not necessary any more. Great restaurant across the side street called La Familia. Ate there twice. Busy place!
I choose this hotel because its just a 5 min walk from Rome Termini station and the room size is very generous compared to other hotels nearby! Our Double room was very fresh and modern with a nice bathroom with good size shower cubicle. Wi-Fi in room was erratic and slow. Room had good aircon and a fridge and cable tv if u need it. The buffet breakfast is up on the top floor with nice views across Rome.. the buffet very generous and has everything u need and opens very early! We were always up there first thing! The hotel is easy to find and there a number of mini markets very nearby and restaurants around the corner. Staff very helpfull and will arrange many things for u if u need help Strongly recomnend this hotel as good value for money.
