Wonderful location, the lake view is breathtaking
We had a wonderful time at Castel Gandolfo! The train connection with Rome is great, so a car is not needed. Castel Gandolfo is a friendly, nice place to stay, with enough shops for your groceries. The lake is perfect for swimming, canoeing or water cycling. The owner of the apartment is charming and helpfull and the apartment itself has everything you want for your holidays, most of all a huge terrace with the sensational view of the beautiful lake! Higly recommendable location!
