"Very bad experience. I drove 10 hours from Orlando to Greenville, SC to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. When we arrived at La Quinta Inn, the room we were given was dirty. The bathroom floor and shower had nasty hair, and there was glue coming out between the bathroom tiles.
I asked to change rooms, but the second room was not any better. The lamp was broken and the room had a terrible smell like rotten milk.
Because of these conditions we decided to leave the hotel. I booked through Expedia and contacted them for help, but they did not resolve the situation and I did not receive a refund.
Be aware when booking with Expedia and staying at this La Quinta Inn by Wyndham. Because of this experience, we ended up sleeping in the car that night until the next morning when we finally found a clean and comfortable room at Holiday Inn."
