This place feels wonderfully remote and the beach is sensational for long walks or swimming in. We stayed in one of the Ocean View Villas which had fantastic views and was well equipped and very comfortable. Even at the end of October we didn't need the AC and it was lovely to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the sunset. We ate in both the restaurant and bar and the meals were delicious and served with a smile. The only negative we encountered was that the swimming pool area is very small. If you need shade during the day there was only room for about ten sunbeds (all placed very close to each other) and not all of these have shade. Obviously, the few beds that are there are very popular. For the price we paid it would have been nice not to have to wait until someone departed before we could 'bag' a bed.
I've been in this hotel in July 2016 and I had a wonderful experience. The location is the best you can have at the see: superb beaches, spectacular view and nobody but the hotel guests. The rooms are big and comfortable and the food is also good. The only think that could be better, in relation of what you pay for your stay, is the service. In five days of stay we had the rooms made only twice, there is no service at all on the beach and nearly all people working there are youngs boys and girls with absolutely no high level preparation, even if I have to say that everybody tried to do the best and was very kind. Anyway, I could advice the place to anybody who like a quite place at the sea.
Our second visit. We decided to book a villa for 1 night to celebrate our 5 year anniversary as part of a 3 night stay in broome as a family of 3. Pre arrival there was amazing customer service, on arrival a very brief check-in, then discovered very limited facilities in our villa. We were assured we could order our meals and eat at the villa pre arrival but were told on arrival this wasnt possible. We then commenced dining with our toddler in the main dining area and experienced lengthy delays, forgotten meals and were avoided, (couldnt even order another drink). The villa itself had a TINY fridge and very basic kitchenette, otherwise was well appointed and very comfortable. Overall average and I wished id stayed in broome for the whole 3 nights.
If visiting Broome, it is well worth the 90 minute drive to Eco beach. Our visit at the start of the wet season meant the resort was not crowded, on our first night we were two of 9 guests the same on our last night. Isolated, remote, located on stunning Western Australian coast, this place oozes relaxation. Food in the restaurant was some of the best we sampled in our two weeks in the Kimberly coast. Staff were fantastic, the manager Paully was particularly helpful. After leaving the highway and driving in on red dirt track for 10kms in 40 degree heat, we were greeted warmly with a cool drink and warm smile by Paully. The caves walk at sunset is simply stunning.
Booked the Beach House for 4 nights. Staff great - beach house amazing - stinking hot outside but so comfortable in we didn't want to leave. The rock formations around the headlands are fantastic and except that we visited at the wrong time of year we would have been out exploring more of the beach but it was too hot except in the early morning and the afternoon. As it was off season and the restaurant was closed on the last day of our stay Paulley arranged an antipasta hamper for us and a bottle of bubbles so we could celebrate on our actual anniversary. We ate in the restaurant 3 times and the food was superb each time. I think despite the heat it was even more special as the number of people were reduced as it is only open on weekends. My one disappointment was that they had no spa services available for the week. Beach house has full cooking and catering facilities including an amazing BBQ area and outside lounges just for the beach house. View is amazing at both dawn and dusk and throughout the day.
First impression of Ramada Eco Beach Resort was excellent. Very friendly professional staff, great accommodation & fantastic food at very reasonable prices. Of course there is also the ambience of the place, great beach & bush walks & magical sunset. Do yourselves a favour folks & go visit this very special place. We will be going back for sure.
Driving along the graded dirt road, to the resort, we felt like we were heading towards a real "get away from it all" adventure. Luckily that's just what it was. We were greeted by the very friendly staff, many of whom are backpackers, and love to have a chat and are extremely helpful. We stayed in an ocean view villa, which had a great balcony, with large very comfortable wicker chairs. The living area had an enormous, very comfortable lounge, kitchenette and table & chairs. Even though you're able to bring in your own food, there's no stove top, only a microwave/convection oven. Staying there in late October, the weather was very warm and humid, so we made great use of the very welcoming air-conditioning in our villa and the beach. We were staying there for a wedding, and I must say, that we had such a wonderful time.
Ramada Eco Beach Resort is the kind of place where you can really relax. There is the beautiful azure blue ocean waters, infinity pool, relaxed restaurant, good wine list, great food, friendly staff. Shuttle bus will pick you up and drop off at airport, make sure your flights times align with their shuttle bus as the shuttle will only go into town am, so if your flight is early you will have to stay in Broome the night before. We spent five days in a glamorous tent, October a bit hot in the beginning 37 degree days, the breezes at night make all the difference. Fabulous for down time, walking on the beach, swimming, reading a book on the many hammocks around the beach front. Spend a couple of days in Broome first if you can to appreciate the diversity of Broome and shop for beautiful pearls, once you have researched what makes a good pearl investment. I decided on Cygnet Bay pearls from the Kimberly Coast, Broome just stunning and reasonably priced. Ramada Eco Lodge is for all, couples, families, high end villas- middle of the range, fun glamorous tents with iced esky provided pick up some supplies in Broome before you depart. Highly recommend it.
Stayed here for 2 nights in a beautiful, modern villa. We were booked into a bush view villa, but on the first night there was an issue with the power for the villa. Jessica, the lovely resort manager transferred us to a beach front unit and even helped haul our possessions during the move. The villas are well equipped. Whilst the resort is way out of town, it is in a peaceful location with a beautiful beach out front. There is a nice resort pool next to the restaurant and they both overlook the beach. A couple of minor irritations were that you could not park anywhere near the accommodation and had to use the boardwalks which were somewhat slippery. I think the directional signage within the resort could also be improved. Overall a lovely visit and I would return in the future if the occasion arose.
I only have good things to write about: firstly it is approx 130km south of Broome with a 10km drive down an unsealed road - easy to drive. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and greeted us with cold ice tea and cold hand towel. We stayed in a garden villa for one night, and it was very spacious with beautiful deck overlooking the resort. Highly recommend the walk to caves, only accessible during low tide and takes one hour each way - beautiful scenic walk. The beach is simply stunning and must go for a swim every morning and afternoon. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful beach with a stunning view. The dinner is exceptional & highly recommended and the best feed I have had in Broome, kudos to the chef !! Cons - no TV, limited internet unless with Telstra however you visit these places to be secluded Can't rave anymore this place is a MUST visit.
