Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Langewold

The rooms in the hotel are in serious need for renovation. The state of the rooms is not in ratio with what you have to pay. Breakfast was somewhat okay with limited offering and the cooked food was not refreshed regularly. Staff manages to show a smile or two but no-one seems to enjoy the work. Breakfast was 16 euros. Also not in ratio to the offering.

First visit to this hotel. The staff are very efficient and friendly the rooms need updating it was like going back in time to the 70/80's. The menu for dinner is ok not a vast amount of choice however and the food was average at best but again the staff were very attentive. The hotel is fine for one or two nights stay.

Due to a mix-up with the travel agency and another Flether hotel we ended up in Roden. We ended up with 2 junior suites, which was great because the outdoor temperatures were in the high twenties. The rest of the rooms had no AC. Restaurant was good, but service was slow, because there was only one person in the kitchen. Breakfast had a great selection of swet and savory items. Excercise room was well equiped. Staff was very efficient and friendly

This has been or third visit ~ perfect location or us ~ staff always friendly ~ rooms could do with some up grading but have always been spotlessly clean ~ comfortable beds ~ good choice of food at breakfast time ~ only managed to arrive early enough once to have dinner but had a lovely meal then ~ hopefully we will be back soon.

Food was very good staff were fantastic the hotel let the staff down in my mind it's ok for one night my be two no more than that lots of car parking spaces even for vans hotel for night was €65 with tax food cam to €30 with some drinks all the staff was were great thay all seem to no there jobs as for the room that I stayed in was cold the room was not warm bed was ok but bed room needs an up date thinking about it would i stay here again only if I hate to

Pretty old hotel in a lazy town. Well worn and in need of some room work. Big room , but very unpersonal , more like a meeting room refurnished for sleeping, Nice personal in front desk, breakfast was excellent . Bathroom was dirty ! I will not recommend to family and friends. Value for money is 2 , hotell generally is 3 , breakfast is 5

Hotel is situated in a nice location. Room needed refurbishment, but was spacious, clean and had comfortable beds and chairs. Bathroom too was a bit dated, but had all the necessary. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. So, overall rating would be much better than average, but a bit short of very good. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate going back there.

Good standard hotel, where everything is o.k.. We has a room on the ground floor, spacious because it seemed a meeting room as well. Diner and breakfast were both well enough but not outstanding. So, if you look for a fair priced, good place to stay - recommended.

What really makes this hotel is the staff. The hotel staff is helpful and the restaurant staff is outstanding and friendly. I spent three days here on business and they made my stay easy and enjoyable. The room itself is average by European standards. Simple, clean and efficient, not much else. Wi Fi connection was good. Best of all the hotel bar stays open late! Breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent(very important for me). The dinner restaurant is also quite good. As I did not have a car I arrived by train from Amsterdam to Gronigen and by a quick bus ride to Roden. The bus stop is directly in front of the hotel! It is a bit of a walk into the village from the hotel but I did not mind the stroll at all being cooped up on a plane and train all day. Here you can enjoy many different restaurants and shopping. Over all I would stay here again if business brings me to the area and would recommend it to others as well.

The hotel room is clean but very basically equipped; It has exactly what one would need and nothing more. The hotel is a bit old and needs some face lift. The toilet water were running all night making a disturbing noise. The shower was a good experience. Breakfast is also good with a relatively good variety. In sum this is a comfortable hotel and suitable for business travel if you are not looking for any extras.
