We couldn’t ask for anything better. The host was accessible and quickly helped with any questions that came up. The home accommodated the needs of all of our family, ages 8-70, including a disabled senior. The beach and the surrounding area provided opportunities for wonderful memories

Thank you for allowing us to host our wedding at your beautiful home. We were able to have the ceremony on the beach and the reception on the pool deck with a handful of our closest friends and family. The owners are what make this so amazing, quick response time, helpful and friendly. The location is perfect and the beds are so comfy! The pool was a hit and the hot tub. Kitchen was great to cook in and some amazing restaurants nearby.

Comfy in May

This house has everything you need. The floor plan is spacious and the amenities are amazing. It was a hit with everyone! The host was quick to respond and very accommodating. When we forgot things at the house they were so quick to help us. Not all of the outlets were working and AC only cooled to 70 BUT we were able to easily work around that. Would stay again!

Stop looking other places and just book here!

My family and I decided to do a last minute weekend getaway to the beach and The Blue Moon ended up being the perfect spot for us! It was just the 4 of us but this home can easily accommodate 20 people. On the way there our two teens were asking what sites we were going to visit and once we got to the house they didn't ask to leave one time! The views from the top floor living room and kitchen area are spectacular. They are topped only be being out on the top floor deck where you can look out over the water and hear the waves. The game room with a pool table and air hockey was a huge hit. The house is right on the beach and we thoroughly enjoyed going for walks and runs on the beach. The sunrise on the beach is spectacular. We also enjoyed a relaxing time in the hot tub. It was too cool for the pool but it would be great for warmer months. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook with no problems. Beds and linens were great. Just an overall lovely home and the host Josh was super communicative, kind, and helpful. We plan to return!

Great for multigenerational family beach break

Lovely house with a beautiful ocean view from the top floor. The elevator and easy top floor layout (bedroom off living room) was awesome for family using a walker. (Note about 5 steps up to get into house were a little tricky.) Our winter get away was very fun at The Blue Moon. The house would be awesome in warmer weather!

Beautiful Home

Had a few issues with the cleanliness of the house but it was taken care of the next day. The owner Josh was very helpful and made sure the issues were corrected. The house was gorgeous, the pool and hot tub were wonderful. My family had a great time. I would definitely recommend this house.

Blue moon dream getaway

This place is even better than the pictures could demonstrate. The rooms are all comfortable, spacious and extremely quiet. Sunrise can be seen from the top deck each day. Be sure to bring toiletries (I.e shampoo, conditioner, soap) as these are not provided. Bring beach or pool towels and supplies as well, otherwise everything is well stocked. Owners are very responsive to any needs.

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful, very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. The elevator was wonderful for my elderly dad to be able to move around without having to use the stairs. There was plenty of space for everyone. The pool and hot tub were really nice and there was plenty of pool toys for my kids. We loved hsving the pool table. We didn't see any chalk for the pool cues though so that would be helpful for future stays. The grill was nicely located by the pool and was clean. We had a few minor things that came up during our stay but Josh was very accommodating and replied really fast when we reached out to him. The house is also dog friendly. My 2 had a blast and were nice and exhausted by the time we got home. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Perfect house for a group

We stayed at the Blue Moon for a week and had everything we needed to a relaxed and fun stay. The kitchen is well stocked and all the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The pool was perfect and the beach was a quick walk. Any questions/concerns we had with the owners were quickly addressed. Very happy with the stay!

Great house for days in and days out!

We thoroughly enjoyed the house! There was plenty of room for everybody and good spaces to hang out together. We had fun days staying in, whether in the pool, at the beach, or playing games. We liked the location too because it was easy to go north to Nags Head or south to Hatteras. The best part was watching the beautiful sunrises!

The best beach house ever!

Josh and Kimberly are outstanding host! Josh was attentive to our every need, very responsive to our questions, and more importantly, proactive in meeting our needs! Quick response to every question. I'm not great with design, furnishing, and details...but my wife is (read super critical) and she was astonished by the quality and beauty of the property! There are so many things I could comment on but a few are: easy-simple check-in, awesome game room, wonderful pool area, vicinity and ease of beach access. If you are looking for class and value together for your beach stay, the Blue Moon is where you should stay.
