Pet friendly with accommodations designed for you and your pet to relax just feet from the beach in the heart of Rodanthe. Located 350 feet from the Hatteras Island (Rodanthe) Fishing pier. Pier passes included!
Room to Spare is an original tiny house established in 1983 and used by the Dunne Family until 2022 when we purchased the property and built our own little purple house. We kept the existing tiny house as we consider it a historical landmark and upgraded it to preserve and share its legacy.
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchenette and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and a desk.

We really enjoyed this studio! It felt spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect — close to great restaurants, the pier, and just a short walk to the beach. The porch was our favorite spot to relax, and the privacy made it feel extra peaceful. We’d definitely recommend it!

Our stay at the studio was perfect! Exceptionally clean and cozy. The studio and surrounding deck is so well thought out and designed, you can tell it was built with care. The outdoor space is great - shower is heavenly, a hose to spray down beach items, comfy seating and cozy lighting. Tim and Stephanie were great hosts and were very accommodating with my change of initial reservation. I highly recommended this VRBO and plan to be back next year. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
