Nestled on the 2nd floor of what used to be RBs original old post office bldg, steps from the sand! A cozy and spacious living room layout & calming, fun musical decor. Stylish inviting bedrooms, natural light, creative nooks, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Watch the waves from the living room window table and listen to the surf as you sleep. Enjoy our outdoor patio area w/ propane bbq and oversized picnic table w/ umbrella, then have a bonfire on the beach as you watch the sunset!

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

Located on the second floor of this 110 year old historic home, which was the original post office bldg in Rockaway, just steps from the beach! Don’t let the ocean weathered exterior fool you, a metropolitan inspired stylish apartment awaits your arrival. Up a small flight of stairs on the side of the building and you enter into a fun, eclectic, well equipped & cozy space where you can enjoy a view of the waves from the west window or a view of the mountains from the kitchen table as you sit to enjoy a glass of wine, a meal or just a snack. Our beautiful outdoor stone patio with propane grill and a large picnic table is a perfect place to enjoy an outdoor meal as you take in the ocean breeze. Our musical themed space is meant to stir up your creativity and lift your spirits. Offered on a monthly basis (flexible) you can take the time to fully release all the stresses of life and let the ocean sooth your weary spirit.

We offer an easily accessed free shared washer and dryer on the first floor on request.

GUEST ACCESS

Getting to our beach retreat destination is a breeze! Conveniently located just off scenic Highway 101 with ample parking available for our guests plus our self-guided check-in and out process (digital keypad - no keys needed!) ensures that you can come & go as you please with no time constraints (although we do ask that between the hours of 11PM & 8AM you are kindly mindful of your downstairs guest) We are located just 1 mile from the main drag with its quaint shops, restaurants, souvenir & artisan shops, & the happening Wayside with it's train stop (for historical coastal rides on a steam train!) opening to our beautiful 7 mile white sands beach & farmer's markets (seasonal). You can choose the short drive or a nice walk to town center using the street or enjoy a breathtaking beach stroll into town!

110 NW 19TH AVE is the correct address, although sometimes various navigation apps will list it as 20TH Ave. Technology...whattya gonna do?

There is a small flight of stairs (12) going up to your entrance located on the west (right) side of the building, and once inside a few steps from the landing inside up to the main living area. We are centrally located between Tillamook & Manzanita. This home is conveniently located near public transportation options, including bus & train. Enjoy a scenic drive along the coast in any direction stopping to eat, antique or just visit the various scenic and historic coastal enclaves along scenic Highway 101 and numerous beautiful hikes just minutes away. Go crabbing, sport fishing, beach bumming, shopping, exploring, dining or tide pooling along the picturesque north coast, visit Cannon Beach, Seaside or the popular Tillamook Creamery, all just a stunning drive away! Grab some local firewood and experience a magical bonfire on the beach as the sun sets.

Located in a quiet & friendly neighborhood with easy access to shops, restaurants & attractions. I welcome you to ask your friendly host (me) any questions you may have regarding locations, directions, restaurant recommendations or anything else that comes to mind. My goal is for you to really cherish & enjoy your stay at this harmonious beach hideaway. No parties I'm afraid, but rather engulfing yourself in this peaceful getaway because life is short : )

NOTE REGARDING KIDDOS

I love kids and am a parent myself. I do ask that since I am in the floor below you that you please remind your little ones to not jump off furniture, run or excessively stomp while in the space. I'm easy peasy and don't expect total silence but just a reminder not to be excessive :)

DIRECTIONS

We are located on the beach side of the train tracks right on the corner of 19th Ave & Miller St. Once you go over tracks the building is the first one on your left (if you keep driving you will run into the ocean... but you'll know once the water level reaches your windshield). Ample free parking facing the house. Your entrance is on the right (beach side) of the building. Small staircase up to your door!
