A few days in France
What a brilliant little place this was. Spread out over 3 floors were two large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom fitted out to a standard that is rarely seen in a normal French home. We only stayed 4 nights but it was everything we needed and more. Located within 400 yards of the centre of Rochechouart it was a great base for getting out and about. Theres a free car park opposite the house for around 30 vehicles so no issues getting parked close by. Charlotte was a great host, leaving a good bottle of wine on arrival and little extras like dishwasher and laundry tablets. Towels and bedding supplied were spotless. Wifi speeds in the house were good. The decking area looks great but we didn't get to use it due to the time of year, definitely a place for a few friends or family and a beer or 3. Theres even a BBQ at your disposal too. If I had to find criticism it would be that the stairs are a bit steep, especially after a few glasses of wine, but anyone with decent mobility won't have a problem. I have family in the area and plan on returning later this year and will be booking this one again. Truly a little gem.

Smart clean accommodation within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants in a pretty town. Charlotte met us on arrival and was very helpful. There were thoughtful touches such as tablets for the dishwasher and washing machine which were much appreciated - particularly the bottle of wine on arrival!

la maison est particulièrement agréable avec sa terrasse et son agencement moderne et fonctionnel. nous avons apprécié que la structure de cette vieille maison soit conservée à certains endroits. il est regrettable de ne pouvoir se servir du poêle à bois alors qu'il est bien visible sur la photo d'accrochage de l'annonce. autre petit point à améliorer, est les ustensiles de cuisine : il manque par exemple un plat à tarte et quelques couverts supplémentaires seraient appréciés. Mais nous avons passés un excellent séjour dans cette charmante maison et y reviendrons sûrement.

Parfait week-end
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Rochechouart. La maison est très spacieuse, parfaitement équipée et extrêmement propre. Tout peut se faire à pied grâce aux commerces de proximité. A visiter : très belle église et musée d'art contemporain dans un château.
