Great place to stay on your wine region tour.

A warm welcome from Luc & Hilda, we were given a large, nicely decorated modern room with very comfy bed and the shower room & toilet were to the same high standard. Very nice breakfast served by Luc and his friendly team, it was autumn when we visited so it can be cool at night in South Africa, the bed’s electric blankets made them warm and cosy, the open log fire in the breakfast room was very nice in the morning and the log burner in the lounge was equally as inviting in the evening. We felt totally safe staying at Ballinderry Guest House, in the town of Robertson and this region of SA generally. We would highly recommend people come and stay.

Fantastic stay at the Ballinderry

This was our 3rd stay at the Ballinderry, but the first for 5 years. The place was as good as ever, and we had a fantastic 2 night stay. Luc and Hilde are very welcoming - and Hilde’s food for breakfast, and a fantastic Valentines meal, second to none. We will always look to stay there when visiting Robertson, which has some great wine estates, and would highly recommend it. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Wonderful stay

I would not hesitate to recommend Ballinderry to anyone travelling to Robertson. Luc and Hilda are very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with friendly faces, Ballinderry is the place to go.

Perfect in every way

We’ve just returned from a delightful two-night stay this weekend, and can’t wait to return soon. Luc and Hilde are the perfect hosts - attentive without being overbearing, and with that rare ability to make every single guest feel special. Our bed was amazingly comfortable, the breakfast was exceptional and the location was perfect for exploring this beautiful part of South Africa. Don’t even think about staying anywhere else in Robertson.

Excellent on all fronts

Fantastic welcome from Luc and Hilde, lovely venue with a lounge area for guests, pool and garden. Room was comfortable and immaculate. Breakfast was superb and even had a surprise glass of bubbles which started the day well. We will definitely be back next time we’re staying in Robertson and highly recommend this to others.
