Matt’s condo was wonderful! It was exactly as described & perfectly clean. My husband is very particular about having a HOT shower with good water pressure and he had no complaints (which is very rare). I could have sat on the patio all weekend and just enjoyed the view of the lake except the mosquitoes were a bit active when we were there… not Matt’s fault. This was our 1st trip to SML and we really enjoyed it. We would absolutely stay at this condo again.

Another Amazing Stay

This was our 3rd stay in SML and 2nd time at this property, we will be back! The views are breathtaking. We enjoy sitting out on the patio in the morning and spending the days on the dock. The property is comfortable and feels like home. The owner is accommodating and easy to communicate with. Thanks for another awesome trip!

Hands down , the most well appointed accommodations we have ever stayed in thru a format like this ! The bed was comfortable, bathrooms very user friendly and the living space was so comfortable! Beautiful view

This is a very nice location and the view is perfect. You do have to take your garbage to the dump at the end of your stay which was a first for us staying at vrbo. Keep that in mind. Hopefully you have room in your car and the garbage doesnt stink. The walk to and from this unit to your car is a bit far, but there is an elevator to get to the 1st floor. The lake view is perfect, beds comfortable. Overall, nice stay.

Perfect spot!

This is my second stay at this property and I absolutely love it. ❤️ It’s darn near perfect. The condo is beautiful and the outside area is gorgeous. We loved taking a walk and seeing the deer in the evenings and we lived on the porch looking at the lake. We spent hours on the dock. It was a fabulous weekend and I can’t wait to go back! Thank you!!

Lovely week at the Lake

This is our third stay at the Ritter's condo and it was just as lovely as the first. The condo has everything you need and the complex is so quiet and peaceful. We love the fact that you can see the water from most every room and that the lake is just steps from your patio. The daily ice cream boat is the perfect hot-weather treat! Highly recommend!

Family Reunion

The condo was outstanding in every way. It was clean and supplied with everything we needed for a weekend at the lake. I especially appreciated the linens. The sheets fit the mattresses and did not pop off all night. The towels were large, thick and absorbent. The kitchen was well organized and had high quality equipment. We were surprised with the basket of little snacks. Small things like that made this rental stand apart from others. The view cannot be beat. My 88 year old mother was able to enjoy the lake even though she is limited in her mobility. One of the best rentals we have experienced.

SML July 2024

We loved your condo! It is nicely decorated, comfortable and well stocked with all the necessary things. The location was perfect. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening, We found it to be very peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be returning! The only issue we had was the heat of the week we were there (July 8-12). The daily temps were in the high 90's and one day it was 101! The condo was very warm in the evenings, upper 70's. I also wanted to let you know that the master bathroom sink was slow to drain. Thank you!

Outstanding Place to Stay on SML - Gracious Hosts

The condo is beautiful. First floor walkout to the lake shore, swimming off the dock and boarding your rental boat. The Ritters genuinely want you to have the best time. They go above and beyond to provide resources suggesting activities, restaurants and attractions and more. All TV 's are loaded with multiple streaming services to relax at night with a movie. Kitchen has everything you need and even had some snacks waiting for us when we arrived. We hope to come back next year! Thank you!

Comfortable Getaway

This is our family’s fourth stay at Matt Ritter’s beautiful condo on Smith Mountain Lake. The accommodations have always been outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch area for entertaining friends from out of town. The weather was absolutely beautiful this year. We also enjoy the many shopping and dining options available in the area. We highly recommend this vacation spot for anyone wanting to unwind and relax.
