Finding good hotels at decent price in Riyadh is very hard. The 4 points is a good option, the hotel is pretty decent, rooms are good. Things that they need really to improve is the ambiance of the restaurant, cold and very dark place, that it really doesn't invite you to stay, and the quality of the wifi. Also the entire building on the outside has seen better days, seems like a building of the soviet area, with a pool that not even a chance you will step in. In addition you can hear your neighbor very easy if he/she speaks over the phone louder or if he/she has the tv on. The main drawback is the location, as is far and in an area with lot of traffic, so have that in mind if you are booking. Having said that is still a good price quality giving Saudi hospitality standards.
Stayed there for a business trip. Rooms ok, gym is sort of average. Breakfast room is dark, no daylight gets in and what's offered to guests isn't fantastic and can be qualified as basic. Bakeries are often dry too Situation wise it is far from the centre and if you need to get there, you take some of the busiest corridors .. Finally, wifi is a nightmare, poor coverage, drops every 15mins, and super super slow. And that was true every day of my stay, on all my devices.
The check in was quick and i was upgraded as i was a SPG gold member. The hotel did not had much occupancy and they gave me late checkout. The staffs were nice. The hotel is in a place near to batha which is crowded with people. Rooms were clean and quite spacious. Breakfast spread was not that great and limited compared to other 5 star hotels in the region. The wifi internet is free and speed is ok. Taxis are available right in front of the hotel. Starbucks coffee shop is there in the lounge. Everything was fine with my stay but i had a bitter experience while having lunch in the restaurant with my colleagues who also stayed in the same hotel. They were vegetarians and ordered vegetable biriyani. The dish was served but after finishing it almost we got to see a chicken piece in it. We called the waiter and showed it to him and he apologised for it. He also informed Giri who came and extended his apologies. For a 5 star chain part of SPG this is not acceptable and it shows there is some lethargic attitude in F&B department. I can understand it could be a mistake but it spoilt the mood and the lunch. I would have rated them 4/5 had it not been the case.
A hotel that has found the area round it deteriorate over time, it wasn't near anything but that was my fault booking without researching enough, the hotel is an oasis in this area of real Riyadh, the staff are plentiful and helpful. The coffee shop man was always cheerful, the restaurant was quiet but the food was really nice. Plenty of taxis waiting outside so it was easy to get anywhere, ask at reception of how much the taxi should be as you may need to haggle a bit. The room was nice and well equipped. I would recommend the hotel as it was a great price and once inside it's got everything you need.
I had stayed at this property for a long time. Staff are courteous and helpful. Special mention to Guru - F&B Manager, takes special care of guests. Chef Shafeeq always serves with guests with smile. Rooms are comfortable and room service is always upto the mark. Good job, keep it up.
This stay was bitter sweet, my flight was delayed so I got in at about 3 or 4 in the morning and had and early morning the next day so I on;y got about 3 hours of sleep but the room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was very nice.
I was booked by our company, was supposed to stay 5 nights but checked out after only two sleepless nights. First the room was very dusty so lots of sneezing and itchy. The AC just recirculates the dust making it worse. The carpets should be removed as they are very old and replaced with wooden flooring. In order to rest, I cleaned the room myself. Second the exhaust of the kitchen was exiting in my room (1602) so every time they cooked, a very strong smell would cover the room. It ended up that all my clothes are smelling like the kitchen so I had to launder all my clothes at my next hotel. The wifi performance is very slow, could not connect to my company at all. The mobile phone signal is very weak on the 16th floor. I would definitely not stay at this location again.
It was my first time to stay here , the room was nice and spacious , some of the furniture is old though , but it does not affect the cleanliness and the service quality . Good internet connection Price is really good, The sink in the toilette is old but it clean . The hotel is located in an area called al bat'ha which is the first old downtown, so access from and to the company is not the bast.
The Four Points by Sheraton Riyadh Khaldia is located in the city center close to Olaya business district where old meets new, the Four Points by Sheraton Riyadh Khaldia is easily access to the major international and local companies. King Khaled International Airport is also within 45-minute drive away from the hotel. About 90 Rials for the taxi trip. A good breakfast buffet is available, and there is a nice lobby suitable for meeting people and having tea and snacks.
Stayed there several times (last in Jan 2017). The facility is in very good shape. The food is very good. The staff is very helpful. Depending on where you want to be in Riyadh, the location might be very good or not so convenient. I usually stay there when I have meetings in that area. With the metro construction in Riyadh, you might end up in traffic much more than expected :( The hotel prices are fantastic compared to what you get in return (facility, staff, ...).
