Lovely location, peaceful and quiet.

We had a lovely week in Ile de re. The property was of a good standard and well looked after and maintained. However, we found the property just too small. Although advertised as sleeps 4, it is only adequate for 2 adults and 2 very small children in the loft mezzanine area. My children are 12 years old and it was just too small for them, I lost count of the number of time she they bumped their head.

bon rapport qualité/prix tant pour le lieu que pour la location

Bien situé géographiquement, tant pour l'accès au village de Rivedoux que l'accès à la forêt. Très pratique et agréable pour se promener avec son toutou. Très bon accueil de M. Tournoys qui est toujours disponible pour répondre à nos demandes. Concernant la location, tout était très propre et bien agencé par rapport à la surface au RDC incluant la chambre double. Juste un bémol pour le canapé dont l'assise n'est plus confortable. Par contre, l'autre espace de couchage est très restreint et bas de plafond avec juste l'espace de 2 lits simple au ras du sol. Il n'y a pas de porte, du coup, pas d'isolation phonique et l'escalier pour s'y rendre est très étroit. Pour finir, le plaisir de profiter de la piscine chauffée à 27° quand la mer est à 17° et la location sur place des vélos si besoin.

Gite un peu petit avec un équipement minimal (pas de micro onde, literie ancienne) mais tout de même agréable avec la piscine et la terrasse privative ombragée, dans un coin calme de l'ile avec des pins et des propriétaires sympas.
