This is really a wonderful hotel. We had a beautiful room with view of the Garda Lake. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was incredible. The best we ever had. Two blocks from the beach. Wish we could have stay more days.

Lovely hotel, right near the lake and restaurants on the door step. Around 15 minute walk to the town and there is a bus stop outside the hotel. Hotel will let you hire the bikes for free and also provides afternoon tea each afternoon. Lovely hotel, location and staff. Perfect holiday!

Pictures are deceiving

The pictures of the hotel made it look like it is on the lake. It is at least two blocks away with no view of the lake. The is a very senior oriented location. Congested area, hard to navigate to. Slow elevator. Not a bad property, just not what the pics made it out to be.

fantastic hotel

Very nice hotel within a few minutes walk to the shore or Lake Garda. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was quite and clean with a nice view. Breakfast was very nice and the free late afternoon coffee and cake made my wife and son very happy. We cannot wait to stay again.

Not look like a 4 star hotel at all. Staff were rude and i have to park my car in the hotel next door. They hold our passport for almost an hour and every time we asked them what are they doing? They couldn't give us straight answer. The hotel has one elevator. We had to wait for 5 minutes each time we want to go to our room( we had our baby stroller so starirs wasn't an option). We asked for late check out(till 12) but they didn't accept it. The safe has a key and u have to ask the reception for the keys. Internet speed was aweful.

Nice hotel close to the lake

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. The room was clean and tidy and comfortable. Staff were very polite and helpful. We didnt use the resturant at night as we decided to go out but it looked lovely and was packed the second night we were there. Breakfast was good but a small choice compared to other four star hotels i have stayed in europe in and samey. With a few cereal options fruit and yogurt. A small selection of breads and cakes. With some hot food. More variey would have been nice espiecially if you are staying longer than two days. Didnt use the pool as think its not open until may and it was cold and raining when i went but i looked like a nice place to sit and relax in the summer.

well-kept hotel and location in Riva del Garda, but a bit old fashioned for us - let's say that under the age of 60 your stay can be a bit awkward. On the other hand, the breakfast was true luxury - fantastic!

Lovely hotel!

Stayed here for a week in August, lovely hotel, friendly staff with welcoming smiles, would definately recommend. Breakfast was good plenty of choice and variation, didnt really eat for the rest of the meals, ate out most nights. Just a word of warning, if you want a sunbed by the pool get down early, nearly every day we popped down and over half the sunbeds had towels on but no people and when we did get one we would easily spend a couple of hours on them seeing te unoccupied ones with towels on. I really felt like having an inbetweeners moment and chucking them in. My adive would be get your towels down do whatever you fancy cor the day and use them if you fancy it. Its a terrible attitude by the people who leave their towels on all day. I dont think is just an issue at this hotel, anywhere where europeans are really. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Confortable but not suitable for a young couple

Hotel Garda was a clean, comfortable and relaxing hotel. The pool was an ample size and we didn't have a problem getting a sun lounger. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, although the coffee was bad! Our room was a decent size although did have a strange smell. The staff were helpful and easy going. However for us as a young couple we found the atmosphere created by the cliental in the hotel to be dull. We did enjoy our stay here and would recommend the hotel to those wanting a relaxing and quiet holiday.

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Hotel mit einem traumhaft bepflanzten Pool, sehr schönen Zimmern, kurzen Wegen zum See (5 min) und ins Zentrum (10 min) zu Fuß, Hotel-Fahrräder sind kostenlos verfügbar, ein sehr leckerer, inbegriffener Mittagssnack und ein richtig leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich - hier ein ganz besonders großes Lob an Amalia vom Frühstück! Wir werden immer wieder in dieses Hotel gehen, wenn wir in Riva sind!

Gute Lage, nicht weit entfernt vom See, Altstadt mit kostenlosen Hotel-Fahrrädern gut erreichbar, schöner gepflegter Pool, kostenlose Parkplätze, ein Frühstück mit allem, was das Herz begehrt, schöne Zimmer. Einziger Nachteil: bei dien Zimmern nach hinten ist der Geräuschpegel früh morgens teilweise sehr laut, wenn man gern bei offenem Fenster schläft, da dort die An-und Abholung von Wäsche, etc. stattfindet…

Vom Hotel aus ist man in ca 250 m am See. Das Hotel ist sehr modern, sehr sauber und das Personal sehr nett. Beim Frühstücksbuffet bleibt kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Es ist sehr groß und vielfältig.
