Chez Polythe is a holiday cottage converted from the former barn of the owner's grandparents, Joséphine and Hippolyte.

Restored using local materials, the house offers a spacious and welcoming living area. One of the two bay windows provides an unobstructed view of Mont Mézenc and Mont Gerbier de Jonc.

Nearby: an inn in the village, leisure facilities in Lavalette (28 km) and Devesset (30 km), a greenway 6 km away, Dunières (railbike and tourist train) 14 km away. Small shops in Riotord (6 km), all shops and services in Montfaucon-en-Velay (18 km). Gourmet restaurants in St-Bonnet-le-Froid (15 km). On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen at the entrance, opening onto a beautiful 40m² living room with a lounge and dining area (TV, wood-burning stove). Loin de Riotord

Le gîte est à 6 km du village et du commerce le plus proche. En ce qui concerne les équipements, le four dysfonctionnait et l’éclairage général du gîte est insuffisant. L’installation mériterait une remise à jour. La pièce à vivre est chaleureuse, spacieuse et les baies vitrées sympas. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Sdb correctes, sans plus. Pas profité de la terrasse dont le mobilier est vétuste. Nous avons loué souvent des gîtes dont les propriétaires soignaient l’accueil avec un pot de confiture, des fruits ou une bouteille. Pas là.
