The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location. At breakfast, the selection was limited. I did not enjoy my stay at this place. If I return to Rio, which I probably will, this hotel is off the list of places to stay. At the front desk, and everyone else, were very disconnected and vague about everything. Anyway, it is behind me now, but I learned from this experience.

The rooms are run down and the photos are deceptive. Staff on the front desk are the worst I have ever experiened. The woman who checked us in was rude, arrogant and incompetent. It seems she gave us the worst rooms she could find - unless they are all this bad. Requested two rooms together in advance, multiple times, and she tried to put us in one room. Then blamed us for not requesting the two rooms, together. Checkout was almsot as bad as we had to wait whilw the two people on the desk finsihed their jobs and converstion before even acknowledging us. Chegamos no quarto por volta das 23h30. Fizemos o check-in, ok. O recepcionista avisou que, após subir até o 12o andar, deveriamos ainda subir um lance de escadas, pois o nosso quarto era um andar acima da onde chegaria o elevador, mas que teríamos, em compensação, uma varanda. Ok. Ao chegar no quarto, a luz principal não ligava. Solicitamos troca ao recepcionista, que avisou que estaria pronto no outro dia. Ao nos depararmos com as condições do quarto, no deparamos não só com um quarto antigo: havía mofo no ar condicionado (central, difícil ajuste de temperatura), pintura da porta do quarto com buracos, balcão da frente do espelho inclinado, caindo. A cortina do banheiro é de cortina. A varanda tem uma vista "maravilhosa" para o prédio da frente. Pra completar, nunca arrumaram nossa lâmpada. Por fim, o café da manhã era bom, a cama era confortável, e o chuveiro era bom, o hotel muito bem localizado.

O quarto é bem espaçoso, mas muito antigo. O banheiro não é com chuveiro convencional, é aquela ducha sob uma banheira (eu, particularmente, não gosto, acho apertado e acaba molhando o banheiro inteiro) O ar condicionado é muito barulhento, e mesmo desligando ele, entra muito ruído vindo de fora, e olha que eu estava no 12 andar. O checkin foi o mais demorado da vida! Apenas um atendente para check in e checkout, uma fila enorme e mais de 1 hora para conseguir deixar as malas no maleiro. Café da manhã sortido, mas em todos os dias foi o mesmo cardápio, não teve variação.
