I stayed in a very clean double room and had a very good experience. The hotel doesn’t provide extras like slippers, which I expected and brought my own, but I was surprised that only bath towels were provided with no hand towels. There is no room safe, and the only bin is in the bathroom, it would have been helpful to have one in the room as well. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and some spoke English, which made things much easier. The location is convenient, busy but safe and it was easy to get an Uber to pick you up or drop you off right outside the hotel. The room had a fridge, which was empty, making it handy to stock up from the nearby supermarket. The price of the room was also very reasonable for Rio, making this a practical and comfortable base for exploring the city. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe staying there.

Not a quiet place, near a very busy street but convenient near everything you might need. Staff was friendly and helpful Can’t walk around with cell phones or anything valuable outside of the hotel. Be aware!

It's five minutes from copacabana in taxi and 5 minutes walk to all the bars in botafogo and near the beach. Clean hotel and good AC and WiFi.

Consideré la cadena de hoteles por que me ha gustado en otros países de América, sin embargo este hotel en Botafogo no mantenía los mismos estándares. La reservación que hice en expedía no coincidió con lo que brindaron, la ubicación es relativamente segura, los ascensores no están en muy buen estados, el restaurante no es muy bonito y no dan ganas de comer ahí, las habitaciones y limpiezas estuvieron bien. Si lo que quieres es solo llegar a dormir, el hotel está bien. No me sentí en casa!

First room handed to us was on the 7th floor; mold smell was away too strong we had to ask to change rooms. Staff was nice and found us another room on the 5th floor… Second room was “all right”… I mean, we were only there for a night, so I guess it’s ok. But to be honest, over $150/night we expected to have at least a bottle of water in the room… painting around the room is spotty, bad lighting, furniture was jacked up, mattress was as thin as it can be, no face or hand towels… Location is good and you have easy access to anything you might need walk distance… but the hotel itself sucks. Their price rely solo on their location. We would not recommend or go back to it.
