Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Stay away from this place as the host barely speaks English and had our place double booked. You will also get no support from Expedia or VRBO on this. Zero protection. After making us wait over 3:30 hours tells us to book another place because the other guest arrived there before us and they were settled in. As if it’s easy to find a place in a foreign country last minute. After we scrambled to find another place we found out she never cancelled our booking and went ahead to charge us. After contacting her 3 days after our booking she goes to say your apartment is ready and you can move in. Absolutely unprofessional and stressful. Not to mention the booking was not even through Expedia and was through VRBO. After being on hold for a long time with Expedia and VRBO. VRBO representative goes ahead and tells us it’s ok and should be no problem to cancel but they need to talk to the host. After a week Vrbo sends an email and says no your room was ready and they will be charging us. To add to this. The host barely speaks English and made sure to have no written communication with us when she got to the property so there is no text or record of it.
