A beautiful well maintained and appointed property. The only property we stayed in Norway during the National service workers strike that didn’t seem affected by the strike. Our rooms were serviced daily, restaurants were open, etc. Would highly recommend this property to anyone, tip - book a lake view room(:

Unique hotel with a lovely atmosphere. People who are complaining about noise on the road-facing side, are unreasonable. Close the window, shut the curtains and the "noise" is not louder than a in-house air-con. Excellent breakfast! This IS the tallest wooden tower in the world. The Americans cheated by using a concrete core in their tower.
