Ebenezer, Georgia, has a rich history dating back to its founding in 1734 by Salzburgers, German-speaking Protestants fleeing religious persecution. These settlers established the town as a religious and agricultural community. Ebenezer became one of the earliest planned communities in Georgia.



During the American Revolution, Ebenezer played a significant role, serving as a base for British troops. The town's Lutheran church, now known as Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, became a hospital during this time. The area serves as a testament to the early colonial history of Georgia and the resilience of its settlers.

Wonderful Holiday Stay!!
