Relais Le Chevalier made our stay truly memorable. Transportation arrangements at arrival and check-out were handled promptly and efficiently, and the driver was very kind and pleasant, which made the transfers even more comfortable. The reception staff, especially Valerie and Camilla, who were exceptional: warm, respectful, attentive, and a pleasure to deal with. Their thoughtful surprise of a bottle of prosecco on my birthday was an over-the-top gesture that we truly appreciated. Housekeeping was impeccable, and the room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and elegantly designed. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and super friendly, kind staff who made mornings a pleasure. The hotel’s location is ideal, right in the heart of the Old Town, close to the Christmas market, restaurants, and shops. Just a small note for guests: due to the central Old Town location, taxis stop nearby rather than directly at the hotel. Overall, the staff, service, ambiance, and our entire experience at Relais Le Chevalier were outstanding, and we would gladly return.

The room felt like it was from another, fancier era. The beds were plush and comfortable. I enjoyed little details, like having both a teakettle and a Nescafe coffeemachine. My favorite part was your 6th floor breakfast, with both a buffet of meats, cheeses, and pastries, and a la carte-created menus. I enjoyed the omelet and sausage as well as the potato pancakes. Everyone from your staff was attentive, kind, and helpful.

Fabulous hotel for the price. The receptionist Alecia (working Sunday afternoon 5/10) was such a great ambassador for your hotel. We had checked out the day before but she still provided 5* support and information when we found ourselves in this part of town again.

Ideally situated just a short walk from the airport bus stop (Grēcinieku iela) past the House of the Blackheads and within sight of the Freedom Monument. Outside is a large square with plenty of restaurants though they did seem to have similar menus and charge similar prices. Everything went quiet at 11:00pm. Receptionists were helpful and spoke very good English. The room was renovated fairly recently and overlooked the square. It was very comfortable and clean. The only reservation was that the large screen TV only had about 4 channels actually tuned in but I hadn't gone to watch TV and the wi-fi was good enough to catch up on my tablet anyway. The buffet breakfast wasn't the most lavish I've seen but in common with many hotels they were trying to push you towards a plated meal from the à la carte menu to cut down on food waste. I would have no hesitation to stay here again.

A wonderful location for exploring the old city. The bedrooms are beautifully designed and very clean. The hotel interior design has had a quirky refit which works well. Sadly next door is a bar with pounding music continuing until 06.00. Ear plugs are available and recommended. The staff were terrific and a good breakfast is provided. All most hospitable and helpful. We shall go again.
