This hotel is great. Staff is really friendly, nice and polite. Breakfast was tasty with a large variety. The room was great. It was large and clean with a sofa and two beds as well as a deal for you to place your laptop on or simply sit and read a book. The room had a small kitchen which was really helpful. And not to forget - the location which is simply amazing, the hotel is close to everything!

Excellent room, with a view of the cathedral, no noise from the street. Stylish decoration. Enjoyed the sauna and hamam, which are booked for private use at no extra charge. Nice breakfast with some local flavours. Terrific restaurant for dinner. Excellent service. Will certainly return. Much more personality than the big chains. Big on style and comfort, not so much posh luxury. Not cheap, but well worth the price.

Nothing but good things to say - the room was large, bright, clean and comfortable. The breakfast which is included is a delicious spread of eggs, smoked fish, sausages, cheeses, fruit, granola, variety of breads/buns, salads. Service in the restaurant and the front desk was very accommodating. The location is in the heart of the old city and minutes from everything. We loved the fact that there is a sauna that you can reserve and use privately - it was such a nice place to relax after a long day of sightseeing in cold temperatures. WiFi (which is free) worked well. We recommend with no reservations.

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The location is superb.. right in the middle of Old Riga and minutes away from Dome Square. Room was wonderful ... kitchenette with dinning and sitting area. Although we never ate in it was lovely to be able to sit and relax after a day of walking. The bedroom was on a gallery with a v comfortable bed.. Staff were faultless. We only ate breakfast there so can’t comment on the food.

We spent 4 nights here and it was one of the best stay we have had in EU. Charming hotel, perfect location in the mid of Riga Old Town with 2’-3’ to top attractions and restaurants. Neiburgs restaurant is also one good option if one day you just want to have a relaxing nice eve dine-in. Very friendly, helpful, attentive staffs, 5* service, comfortable and spacious room, we would not wait to come back!

We spent 4 nights in this very nice hotel which is perfectly located in Riga old town. Room 602 had a fantastic view, was warm and very spacious. It was lovely to sit on the sofa and look out across Riga after a day’s sightseeing. The hotel was extremely well run and the staff very efficient. Breakfast was lovely and perfect to start a day of exploring this wonderful city. Only slightly negative comments are that the bed was a bit hard for me and the jazz played at breakfast a bit frenetic. Minor quibbles for an otherwise lovely stay in a very stylish hotel. Thank you.

This hotel hits the mark on so many levels: room size and condition, convenience to sites, excellent service, and outstanding restaurant to name a few. For some reason they've gone cheap on the beds, If you're a side-sleeper, move on, or bring your own mattress topper. It's a shame because I loved the room, staff, location, and especially the restaurant, where I ate breakfast and dinner for every day of my long weekend. I only got max 5hrs of sleep each night and was told that all the beds were the same.

Loved my room and all my staying. Rooms are comfortable and cozy. Spacious bathroom. Great view on the city. Fantastic breakfast! Spa in the building, elevator as well. Perfectly located in city centre.

We were upgraded to a lovely suute because we were celebrating a special occasion. Got the chance to enjoy the steam and sauna in private. Breakfast was ok Staff helpful and friendly Location is the best ( excluding the parking issue if you are driving )

This was a marvelous hotel to spend 4 nights in. I booked it because I am a fan of the art nouveau style and was not disappointed. It is a beautifully restored building in a very handy location in the old city. Location is perfect- very close to a great cocktail bar called cafe Cuba, and an excellent museum about the 1991 resistance. Everywhere you would wish to see on a short break is within easy walking distance including the art nouveau district, the canal, the amazing huge market, the river, the house of the blackheads and the museums. What a delightful room we had with a view of the cathedral. It was a huge space...king sized bed, kitchen with mini bar and microwave and a sofa to boot. Tasteful decor and a lovely parquet floor. The bathroom had both bath and shower and an abundance of toiletries including sewing and vanity kits. The room had plenty of storage space, a massive tv with dvr, a safe and good lighting. The selection of tea and coffee was sparse but that didn't matter as there was a bottle of evian provided every day and lovely coffee is provided at breakfast. Well now lets talk about the marvellous breakfast. After a visit to the spa and sauna (booked privately) breakfast is a welcome treat. There are cold drinks to choose from including carrot juice and prosecco (we had to have some of that on Valentines Day) yogurts, cheeses, fish including, herring, hot smoked salmon, pancakes, fruit, sausages, salads, croissants, bread etc. The restaurant is excellent, we dined there twice and had very good food and wine and service was exceptional. In fact all the staff at this hotel are courteous and attentive, speak good English and are very helpful. Did I mention there is a large library with modernist seating? It is exceptionally clean and the mattresses are absolutely perfect for a good night's sleep. Thank you to everyone at this hotel who made this stay by 2 stressed teahers relaxing and enjoyable.
