It was great. But I didn't saw slipperies. But everything other was great. My family enjoyed with a trip. The breakfast was good, but dinner could be better maybe. I hope we come back to your hotel. Thank you!

Family of four on long weekend trip to Riga. Was very lucky with getting this hotel, ideal walking distance to the old town and plenty of places nearby to eat after a day of walking. Staff were first class we arrived 4 hours before checking in time and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Although this hotel is next to one of the main roads you will not be disturbed in your sleep by it and will be refreshed for the wide choices for breakfast the next day.

We are satisfied with the quality and service of the hotel. The hotel manager has kindly recommended us places of interest. We could only notice that a small dessert and coffee could be included in the dinner menu.

Monica ticked all the boxes for a tourist visit to Riga -reasonable prices -friendly helpful staff -one of the best breakfasts we have had in terms of variety, freshness and quality -small but functional gym -close to the major attractions and good local restaurants -reasonably large rooms and generous sized bathrooms -good sleep quality It took us a day to work out the right room temperature setting which also eliminated the noisy heating fan

We stand here for one week, two adults and one baby. Everything was prepared for us, the room was quite large and the breakfast buffet very good. The only reasons for points to deliver are a strange smell sometimes in the bathroom, which may came out of the ventilation grille, and the overall in Riga present problem of unsufficient ramps for strollers and buggies. Never the less we give a devinitive recommendation for this hotel.

Considering price per night and location I can't complain except the issue during breakfast when personnel was absolutely unable to assist on simple question if I can have omelet instead of the buffet offer.

We didn't spend a huge amount of time actually at the hotel, but the time we did spend there was pleasant enough. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious enough with a comfortable bath (always a plus). Someone I traveled with was disturbed one night by some other guests but the hotel dealt with it promptly when she reported it and I heard nothing and slept like a baby. That's quite something considering I usually can't sleep.

Second stay in one of my favourite Riga hotels, this time for 4 nights. Still a little dusty and faded atmosphere but good value for money. In particular I like the architecture, the authentic style rooms with a touch of old aristocratic Riga and off course the location opposite Kronvalda Park and in the periphery of Art Nouveau district. 5 min walk through the park to the tram that takes you to Old Town in 5-6 min, alternatively 15-20 min walk along the green belt. Breakfast served in the cosy restaurant in the basement same as last visit: Wide choice but more efforts could be done regarding taste.

Hotel Monika has been my preffered hotel in Riga during my four recent visits to the Latvian capital. The location is perfect as most dining venues worth visiting as well as most attractions such as Old Town and the Opera are well within walking distance. It’s located in the building next to Riga’s best known and criticaly acclaimed restaurant, Vincents, and roughly 200 meters straight down the road you’ll find the harbour/lake where many vibrant restaurants are open during the summer season. The rooms in Hotel Monika are clean, well sized and nice - only thing left for improvement are the bed pillows which are literally impossible to sleep with due to their height! Never understood why some hotels provides guests with hard and tall pillows! Breakfast is included in roomrates and is availeble in the basement floor, buffet style with ok coffee and juices availeble. It’s been a pleasure to find that the standard is very consistant. Thanks and see you soon again

Hotel is situated in comfort place, not far from old city. The breakfast was on high level, room was big and comfortable. Receptionist helped in all questions. I will recomend hotel to my friends and colleagues.
