Stayed for a long weekend in a junior suite. Couldn't fault the hotel, the room was huge with a lovely upgraded bathroom and a view over the park with a quaint little balcony. It was -11 degrees whilst we were there and the room was lovely and warm. Breakfast was amazing with everything you could possibly think of - a great start to our exporing days. It's situated outside the historical centre but is a lovely walk through the parks that only took approx 15-20 mins. Staff were friendly on arrival but didnt have any other dealings with them. Would highly recommend Riga for a cold and snowy weekend away. Fabulous!
Excellent location near the park. The room was clean. The towels were changed daily. The breakfast was very good and varied. The stuff was very nice and helpful. I very enjoyed my staying at Monika Centrum Hotel in Riga.
I really enjoyed my staying at Monika Centrum Hotel in Riga. I stayed there for a week. The room was large and cosy The bathroom was spacious, well-equipped and neatty. Everything was clean. The towels were changed daily. I had only breakfast at the hotel. The food was very good and varied. The people working at the hotel were very nice and helpful.
This hotel is wonderful for its comfortable location, elegant interior and friendly personnel. Nevertheless, the biggest fulfillment of stay is due to its marvelous restaurant and its superior dishes!
Two breakfasts, two dinners, sauna. It was a huge surprise for the price. The dinner were a two meal special which was made with high quality of the products. The bed was huge and sleeping was a pleasure. The hotel is by a nice park, grocery store is about 100 m away, drug store 100 m away, buying public transport tickets less than 50 m away. Everything is well placed. A little thing I didnt like was so many channels in German language. Would be nice to have more in English. Otherwise everything is awesome.
Me and my wife visited Riga 1th-4th January and stayed in Monika Hotel. The staff serviced kindly and all went well. Especially the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is near by the center and it is easy to walk to the old town. Very cozy. I can recommend.
The hotel building is an architectural masterpiece along with all the other surrounding buildings. It's a 10min walk away from the old centre of Riga but it's situated in the "quiet city centre". Worth seeing even if you aren't staying at the hotel, but if you are, you can enjoy everything it offers including a really good breakfast, a comfortable room, a sauna etc.
Everything was perfect. The only disappointing thing was that there was extra amount in the bill when check out. We got that sorted so it was fine at the end. All in all a beautiful hotel and the quality-price is rarely this good. After travelling 32 countries, we can say this by experience.
This hotel is a short walk from the old town. When we arrived at 2pm we were sent up to a room that had not been cleaned so had to wait an hour for it to be ready - we got a free drink voucher to use the bar and an hour later got to our room. Not the best start. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. A couple of mornings breakfast was very quiet but when it was busy the tables took a while to be cleared , the staff weren’t always obviously in attendance. Staff were all friendly. Would stay here again when in Riga
The hotel is cosy and clean. The staff is extremely friendly. the hotel is in the old town, so it is very convenient to have a walk. After a awlk it was very comfortable to have a private sauna. The breakfast was really plenty.
