Comfort and accessibilty on a budget

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was comfortable, bright, cheerful and clean. The hotel is located in a quiet setting with easy access to museums, restaurants and other urban attractions, like the opera house and the city parks. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. It is an excellent hotel for the price.

Very good price for excellent location

Its not the most luxurious hotell and you dont have your own bathroom, but the room was very very fresh with nice wooden smell. You have acsess to a kitchen and possibily of washingservice. The staaf was very nice and helpfull. Best of all is the location next to the nicer areas of northwestern riga. We had a very good time and will probably use this hotell more times.

inexpensive but filthy bedroom

We booked this guest house via Expedia after having compared the location and price with other similar hotels/guest houses. Since there were no useful reviews over this place so we hope this one will help others. The location is pretty good, right on the edge of the Art Neuveau district and easyly accessible on foot of by bus/trolley from the transport hubs and the old town. The reception is acceptable if not super friendly. The building itself is old and has its charms. The communal areas such as stairs and small dining area where breakfast is served are in acceptable conditions. However the bedroom is in very poor state of repair and hygiene. We chose a en-suite option which has a very recently installed sanitary unit that worked perfectly but not cleaned properly that the toilet stunk. The bedroom floor was not vacuumed and there is a very old rug over old (original) timber floor which was extremely filthy, full of human and whoknowswhat hair and other things attached. The rug may be meant for winter time when the guest has snow covered shoes but in summer when the room temperature exceeds 30 degrees C we were not very happy guests. Another disappointment was that the towels supplied stunk as well, even the fresh ones we were given the next day. The wifi connection in our room was not very consistant and often dropped. It is possible that some rooms are completely new and some rooms are in a condition as described above. I just cannot recommend this.

スタッフは良い人でしたが。

部屋がとても寒かったです。4階ですがエレベーターはなかったです。共同バスルームのトイレも床も濡れていました。シャワーで一気に洗ったんじゃないかという感じでした。部屋も前の人が忘れたメモがあったりと。寝るだけですかねえ。

Вполне достойный бюджетный B&B

Отель в целом хороший: чисто, тихо, разнообразный вкусный завтрак. Отель находится в центре, не в самом-самом, но тем не менее очень недалеко, и архитектура вокруг очень живописная. У отеля нет своей парковки, а та, что перед входом - очень дорогая в будние дни. Однако, неподалёку можно найти несколько платных стоянок по вполне разумной цене за сутки (там разные тарифы за час/день/ночь). Был слегка удивлён, что у нас в номере нет туалета и ванной, но в целом за такую цену с этим можно смириться, тем более, что санузел был фактически напротив двери. Т.к. душ общественный, настоятельно рекомендую захватить шлёпанцы. На этаже есть оборудованная кухня для любителей готовить. В общем, отель бюджетный, хороший, особо рекомендую тем, кто приехал смотреть на достопримечательности, а в отеле только ночует.

Mõneks ööks ööbimiseks on hotell väga hea. Eriti oluline on asukoht kesklinna lähedal. Tuba oli lihtne, aga kõik vajalik oli olemas. Söögituba oli väga kena ja hommikusöök korralik.
