Best location, best value! Hotel offers a spacious wellness centre, fitness centre, rooftop restaurant, and conference rooms. View from the bar on the 11th floor was perfect, bought a coffee and a dessert for only 5 euro. highly recommended.
Me and my family spent two nights in Jurmala Spa Hotel this winte. The experience is amazing - delicious breakfast that includes smoked salmon, pancakes, fresh fruits and so on. The welness centre with pools and saunas was perfect too - a lot to choose from. We booked a standard room that had all that you could’ve needed - it was nicely cleaned both nights, the beds were comfortable. All in all, we are very satisfied with our stay and we are looking forward to booking it again for our next holiday.
In this structure we stayed overnight for one night and, to our complete satisfaction, we spent an entire afternoon in the SPA area enjoying also a relaxing massage. The SPA area includes different types of sauna, Turkish bath, salt room, jacuzzi and various whirlpools with hydro-massage. All the environment was clean and well cared, the staff very helpful and friendly in any situation. Our room was clean, functional and simply furnished. In particular we liked the slate decorations in different parts of the hotel, but especially in the room's bath, where it gives a touch of class. As for the other services, we took advantage of the internal parking, very comfortable and of the breakfast, which we found very rich, varied and with quality products. The only flaw, to be really picky, is the a bit pricey minibar, but the final score is certainly very positive.
If you fancy a gorgeous combination of lush white beaches, fresh air, pine forests, an awesome hotel spa and services and super friendly staff then Hotel Jurmala Spa is for you! I have yet to find a better combination for both families and single travellers looking for a great Latvian flavour. If you go this year; treat yourself to Jurmala Spa!
We booked a SPA package for 2 days & 1 night, from Friday to Saturday. At check-in we were informed that restaurant will be closed tonight, bar will be closed tonight.. because they have a corporate events.. As I understood they have it regularly on the week-ends. We were on 9th floor, dont know how felt people who were staying on 2nd floor because even we heard the noise from corporate event on the 1st floor. As our dinner was in a SPA package, we had it at the conference hall. The food was good, but the room for dinner not at all. When we went to the sauna & pool area Friday afternoon ca 17:00, there was disappointment again, because there were too many people that we had to wait to get the keys for lockers. As we were planning to have some drink at the bar in the evening, but it was closed for corporate event, we had to go out of the hotel to have it. Saturday morning was better as there were very few people in saunas & pools, and breakfast was served in the restaurant, and the food was very good & wide choice. Hotel standard room was ok, just normal room. If you happen to be a bit late for check-out (over 12:00), note that your room key card won’t work, and elevator won’t work with your card.
We are satisfied and happy. It was not our last and first time this is for sure. Jurmala is very similar to our Võsu and Pirita in Estonia. I have nothing to complain. We got want we wanted. See you next time and merry christmas !
I have been there on working days and then there was no problems. Last time I was on Saturday. And I was not happy ... relaxing SPA turned out as stressful SPA. Check-in was 40 minutes. After getting room keys (card) there was no space in car parking in hotel`s parking place. Reception told me that it is not hotels problem .... thankfully after 10 min while I was arguing with hotel reception they get some 10 extra parking places from Casino next to hotel. Then I needed to wait around 15 min to get in SPA as it was full. Some 15 - 20 min on check-out. The hotel is clean and staff is kind ... problems I think is in management ... Lot of things can be done easier, quicker and more organized.
Hotel is easy to find driving by car. The sea is very close. Delicios food, relaxing spa...(especially, salt and steam saunas with refreshing aromas)... everything you need for the restart of the next working week... and to top it all of was amazing photos made by photographer Aigars.
Nice spacious rooms, great sized spa, also for children. Location of hotel is quite hidden, but not impossible to find (just need to know exactly where to turn). There are quite a lot restaurants nearby if you want something else rather than hotel food (which is also OK). Breakfast food choice was ok, food quality also nothing to complain about. Sea is walking distance away, rather large beach area.
45 minutes to check in and even more to check out!!! I suppose hotel management should place more emplees on holidays!!!! If you come only for one night and for visiting spa with small kid then such abnormal situation with check in and especially check out process will completely spoil the impression!
