Beautiful Hotel, ideal for a romantic get away. The room was elegant but cosy, the breakfast delicious. Someone in hurry might find the waiting time for your individually prepared breakfast too long, we just enjoyed the peace and quiet. The location was perfect for exploring the old town.
I loved everything about this hotel! Everything to the highest standards, perfect location, excellent service and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially I enjoyed their fresh baked breads and everything is heartwarming.
Stayed in the hotel for 1 night with my 5 yo. Great attitude of personnel, very friendly and accommodating. Good a'la carte breakfast, they even agreed to cook french fries for my son. Spa is small and deserted but massage was very good.
The warm welcome, the staff, the food, the chef, the location, the atmosphere, never before have we had this service on ouer trips,so when you are going to Riga, then this is THE hotel to stay in,this is not a 5 star hotel, but a 10 star hotel.
Very nice old building. Location is in quiet area. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Spa is small but still quite decorative. Breakfast is nice with fresh squeezed orange juice. As this hotel is not the most crowded, the service exceeds your expectations.
I stayed at Gallery Park Hotel and Spa last month. It was by far my favorite hotel experience from my Europe trip and one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. I like to choose interesting places to stay when abroad and I picked this hotel because it’s in a UNESCO world heritage building and I loved the decor. Location The location is close to everything that was on my itinerary. It’s in the Art Nouveau area and only 5-8 minute walk to the Art Nouveau Museum and Alberta Iela. It was a short 10 minute walk to Old Town Riga and also the old KGB building. There are several bus stops within a 1-3 minutes of walking or you can use their chauffeur service. Service The front desk employees were very friendly. Check in felt very personal and private. They would greet me each night and ask me about my day. Any request I had was taken care of. Definitely 5 star service. Room I stayed in a standard room on the 4th floor, which is where their more modern rooms are. The rest of the hotel is gorgeous. It looks like a museum, so staying in a modern room didn’t really fit the vibe. If your budget allows, I highly recommend staying in one of the more historic rooms on the lower levels. I had the chance to take a peek at a few of the suites and they were gorgeous. Each room is different and the furniture is all antique and collected from all over the world. My room was still very comfortable and it was hard to get out of bed in the morning. My favorite part of the room was the bathroom!! It was not only huge but the floors were heated. Every night, they turn down your sheets and put the weather report for the next day on your pillow which is a nice touch. Breakfast Breakfast is included and you order a la carte. I tried the pancakes and bread basket. Juices are fresh squeezed. Overall it was very good, no complaints. Pool The pool was another big selling point for me as I love to take photos. I was always the only one down there too which was great. The water was cool but not freezing like I read in some of the other reviews. Definitely swimmable. It was so relaxing and quiet down there, you can also order lunch, drinks and snacks if you get hungry. Restaurant / Bar The restaurant was closed on both nights that I stayed. I ordered tomato soup and a slice of cheesecake from room service one night and it was really the only thing that I didn't feel was up to par with the rest of the hotel The bar is open 24 hours. I brought my computer down to work one of the nights and it was very quiet and comfortable. The prices were reasonable too. WIFI Wifi was available throughout the hotel and in my room and it was very strong and fast. Overall I loved my stay and 2 nights wasn’t enough. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Riga!
A very charming old style hotel in the perfect location. A quiet top notch neighbourhood surrounded by parks within a 15 Euro taxi ride from the airport. Walking distance to the old town. Attentive and professional yet casual service. When checking our passports they noticed it was my birthday and served me a lovely piece of cake at breakfast. The a la carte breakfast is a true highlight of the hotel. Two small details for constructive criticism: I find it completely unnecessary to completely change the bed linen during a stay of two nights. And while it is nice to be given the opportunity for a smoke on the balcony, ashtrays should be emptied and cleaned from time to time.
We celebrated one year anniversary and were so pleased with everything. Excellent service and lovely environment. We truly recommend this hotel if you want a little luxury in your life. Especially the breakfast! Best regards Corneliussons.
Great hotel with perfect location for both the old town and the art nuveau district, really nice rooms, outstanding services and very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and very reasonable prices. Great value for money
Newly renovated, but gorgeous old building with very classic interior. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Room was spacious with a good bed. And nicely situated max 10 minutes walk from the very center of the old town. Don't miss out on taking the stairs and view the painting at the top.
