I am always happy to stay here and will continue to come back. The rooms are quiet and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located near to both the old town as well as parks and good restaurant area.

The hotel uses a scam. I was made to pay for the room as soon as I arrived and only then was told that there had been an "overbooking". I was sent to another hotel which was more than 2 times cheaper. I didn't have to pay for the another hotel but I was refused bluntly to receive back my money I overpaid. I have received no answer to my claims from the hotel.

On the far end of Elizabete Iela, just round the corner from the Art Nouveau Museum on Alberta Iela and in the heart of the Jugendstil quarter of Riga, is this character hotel. The big-hearted manageress does her absolute best to make guests' stay a pleasant one. Rooms are quiet - although be aware that there are roadworks on Elizabete Iela at the moment (summer 2017) so don't count on having a lie-in! WiFi in my room was good, the shower was also good and breakfast was a buffet in the basement with a reasonable spread - though no juices, but plenty of freshly made coffee on tap. Very good value for the stay too.

Lovely hotel, close to the old town, only a 15 minute walk. Room was very large, nice comfortable bed and air conditioning in the room. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast a little sparse but still enjoyable!! A good stay for the price, would most certainly stay at this hotel again!

This small hotel in the heart of the art noveau district of Riga was a perfectly decent place to stay. It's size and location were great and the staff were generally very helpful. Our room was good enough too. Breakfast was adequate and was neither the worst nor the best we had on our ~3 week trip. Although the street the hotel was on didn't suffer from much in the way of late night noise from people, the traffic in the morning was enough to wake me up a bit earlier than I'd have liked.

... to stay in (fairly) central Riga. 24/7 front desk, decent room, adequate breakfast buffet - when I expressed dissafaction with the coffeee a fresh, drinkable pot was provided. Would unquestionably return.

Arrived at this hotel quite late and walked in to make a booking. They had just filled their last twin room and only had a double available. I explained that we needed 2 beds and as they realised that it was getting quite late they offered us a 3 bedroom apartment at a similar price, We excepted the apartment with out seeing it but were pleasantly surprised when we saw it,. The apartment was huge with a3 good sized bedrooms a living room and huge bathroom with shower and jaccuzzi. There was also a kitchen but we did not use this. The apartment was set back behind the hotel and was further away from the road so there was no noise. The man behind reception help us in organising our transport for our onward journey. Good restaurant nearby too.

Hotel was little far from city centre and old town, but the bus stop were near. Room itself was big and cozy, but radiator wasnt working, so temperature in the room was too high. We asked staff to fix the problem and when we came back in the eavning only our window has been opened... Breakfast included but it was bit tiny..

This hotel has two locations near one another. I stayed at the one on Dzirnavu Street. The hotel is nice, the management is terrible. Bottles of fresh water were put in my room each day, which I thought was a lovely touch, until I learned upon check out that I was charged for the water -- double the price had I bought them myself! Also, my university had negotiated for meals to be included, because the restaurant at the hotel is considered quite good. But the meals that were included were not the meals on the menu. And, they were terrible. I discussed these issues with the owner directly, who told me to pay the full bill and she would consider these issues for the future! Discussing these issues with her left a terrible feeling I had been taken advantage of.

Very good location as it is meters away from the city center, great! I was in Riga for the end July and when I got to the hotel I was met very friendly by staff and other people was staying there with me.. A very pleasant first impression and the hotel was small, but comfortable and aura is homeful. Staff overall was friendly and helpful, because I many times asked for advices and they were more than happy at speak with me English to help me. Walls wasn't very thick but overall I had a good sleep. Also the price was very reasonable and I had a good spare money to spend in Riga.
