My wife and I stayed at the Mann-Tess three separate times over a period of three weeks as we traveled beyond Riga twice. The staff is very friendly and helpful; the scale of the hotel is intimate and the two rooms that we had were spacious and very comfortable. All things were neat as a pin. The complimentary breakfast was generous with expresso drinks and tea along with typical north central Euro foods (ham, cheese, egg, bread, oatmeal, etc. The price is also reasonable, especially considering the central location in Old Riga. Highly recommended.
I recommend Man-Tess Hotel where I stayed with a friend of mine. the best things about this place is its location. breakfast was OK - not very big choice in comparison with another hotel in Riga where we stayed. the only thing we didn't enjoy much was the decor of rooms - red curtains made us feel strange.
