My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in March 2018. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff helpful and courteous and the food delicious - especially the seaweed served with sesame seeds at breakfast! The rooftop restaurant has a nice ambience but portion size is quite small. The gym is well equipped and the spa is a relaxing bonus.

Latvia is a beautiful country! The city of Riga is a definite must-see. The Bellevue Park Hotel Riga was a wonderful surprise. It has wonderful staff and an amazing spa. It is right by public transport so you can be in town within minutes.

That is very good hotel to stay in Riga because very good price and superior services. We visit that hotel for business for some days a lot of times in year and all the time with pleasure. Thank you for very good breakfasts and dinners, clean rooms and friendly services. Thanks to staff it's like a second home.

I stayed here for business...arrived at 1am and was greeted really nicely, by "Miss xxx we've been expecting you". The hotel foyer and rooms are a little dated, but everywhere is very clean. The bed was very comfortable, but I found it surprisingly warm everywhere, consideirng it was snowing outside! The heating bill must be enormous! The wardrobe isn't very big and there are no drawers so could be tricky to stay for more than a few nights. Small thing but I would liked to of had my bed made each day. They look as though they're working their way through modernising the whole hotel, the restaurant on the 11th floor is absolutely superb, the ambience, service and food were all very good. Breakfast had lots and lots of choice.. I did try the fitness room, but it literally is a room with 7-8 pieces of equipment from weights to running there was choice and I had it to myself, it just wasn't a very inviting room. I think they could offer the spa for free on one of the nights if you're staying for a few, as it may encourage people to use it another night? It was a very good price so I would bear this in mind. The staff were friendly, the hotel is really clean, lots of breakfast choice and you can get a great evening meal..You don't need too much more when you're away with work for a few nights!

Every year I take a group of youth to Riga. The last five years we have stayed at Bellevue Park Hotel. That we choose to come back every year tells that we really are pleased with the hotel, the location, sevice, breakfast and rooms. Tram and bus right outside. Nice park.

I had a short stay in Riga, and after careful analysis I chose this hotel. I'm glad I did. I was greeted warmly by the front desk receptionist, who also assisted me in ordering a taxi for the morning trip to the airport. She also volunteered a breakfast box, as I would be leaving an hour before breakfast was to be served. My room (624) overlooked the surrounding neighborhood, and was quite pleasant. The accommodation was spotless, the beds very comfortable and spacious. It was also very quiet. The bathroom was modern, with nice toiletries and heating systems. I was also pleased that the room had a safe. The restaurants of the hotel were beautifully done, especially Le Sommet. The view of the city was excellent. The food was a very good value and nicely prepared. The hotel also had a small workout area and a very nice spa. I was extremely pleased with my stay here, and I don't hesitate to recommend it. The value for the price is superior.

This hotel might have been one of the most modern hotel for many, many years ago. Not anymore. But if that doesn’t bother you then it is a very good alternative. Especially when you realize the low price. It is not really near to anything but you have access to taxi outside. The whole setup, the furnitures, the restaurant, the bar, the aquariums, the small and slow elevators and even the strong freshener smell makes you enter in a twilight zone.

The Bellevue Park Hotel is a lovely hotel on the other side of the River Daugava to the Old Town. However, there are trams and buses just outside that will take you in, although we walked everyday for the exercise! Bus 22 from the airport drops you off outside, although our bus driver took us all the way to the railway station for some reason and we had to find our own way back! If using this method, make sure you show the bus driver the address rather than just tell him, like I did! Back to the hotel - the best rooms are on the tenth floor offering beautiful views of the city or the park, but odd numbers overlook the park and some have balconies. Breakfast was a delight - a very extensive buffet breakfast with all manner of hot and cold dishes. The only thing missing was fresh fruit, although they did have whole bananas, oranges and apples to choose from. This breakfast really set us up for the day. Our room was a standard one, quite small but adequate for our needs. The restaurant on the 11th floor, Le Sommet, was really good, great value for money and.fabulous views over the park and city. There is an outside terrace for use in summer which would be fantastic. Ian, our very efficient and friendly waiter, was a fantastic asset to the staff. He spoke English fluently and gave us tips on where to go in Riga. Reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. All in all a very good experience.

Stayed here three nights during my trip to Riga again. Nice basic hotel, has everything you need; restaurant, bar, room service, big lobby, gym, sauna, spa, souvenir shops, luggage room. Great breakfast with lots of choices! I got a corner room and it was quite cold and I couldn't figure out the thermostat, an engineer was sent to my room and solved the problem. The power sockets were in quite weird places to charge your phone, but not impossible... The fridge was a bit sketchy. I ordered food from room service on my first night and found it weird that nobody cleaned the plates away during my whole stay...

I stayed three nights at the start of February 2018 over a weekend in this hotel. There was a large dance event in the hotel. It is a former Soviet hotel converted to modern standards and had been excellently upgraded. I had an apartment room on the eight floor with a full kitchenette. The room was huge with wonderful views. Despite, the cold outside the room was always warm. The bathroom was well appointed and the bed very comfortable. Now for the problems. There was no hot water after around noon. There was no more hot water until the next morning. This was every day of my stay here. Other guests of different floors also experienced the same issue. We went to dine on two occasions in the rooftop restaurant on the 11th floor. The Friday night we were there early and no one else was in the place. The staff, a young man was excellent and friendly and the food was very good for the price. Two courses with wine and coffee for two people came to almost 80 euro. Cheap compared to Dublin. The Saturday night we arrived and the restaurant was full almost, the first female staff member asked sharply had we a reservation and we said no. She rudely said there was no tables available and walked away without even suggesting any alternative. They obviously were understaffed in the kitchen. We went to reception to see if they could help, They rang the same restaurant when we explained we were prepared to order our food now and wait in our room and come up when it was ready. We were told, we could have a table in 30 minutes and then have to wait an hour for our food, even though we ordered it there and then, 90 minutes earlier. They seemed not to grasp that this is not acceptable. The lady at reception was apologetic and sent us to a nearby restaurant called Fazenda, which was very nice. Likewise the staff on the ground floor bar were very poor, you were left with a singular feeling you were annoying them by asking for anything and the speed of service was brutally slow. This is off-season, I would dread to think how this hotel is during the peak season. Overall, nice place, great rooms except for hot water but staff need to come a long way to be anywhere near 4 star. Cheap off-season certainly not worth high season prices, there are better options closer to old Riga across the bridge, although this is well serviced by trams outside the door.
