Service and food was great. Room and bathroom was bigger than we thought. At least on 6th floor in our room the wifi was great. Parking spot was private and surrounded with fences. Good quality and price ratio.
A simple traditional older hotel, hidden a bit inside a courtyard which is nice and away from the street. Their small restaurant seems to generate a bit of business - probably the nicest thing about the stay as well (nice little breakfast, good coffee, friendly staff). Reception is fine, tho there may be minor language issues in late evening or early morning. Rooms are OK, a bit larger than you might expect ... no teapot. I was surprised to be warned at check-in that they only "guarantee" wifi in the common areas, which turned out to be true -- no wifi in the room, which can be of consequence for making continued travel plans. Location is fine, just a block or three off the parks and more touristed zones, and maybe a pleasant enough 15 minutes walk from train station. If you've had your fill of more expensive and corporate flavor hotels, this will be a little different and fine.
Amazing value for money! This might be the cleanest hotel room I've stayed in. The location is amazing, price is awesome and after spending more than 24 hours on planes and in airports, finding a huge, white bathtub was a dream come true. Stuff was friendly and helpful and overall this hotel made my life easier. Highly recommend.
Large, comfortable room with an exellent view from the window. The hotel is located close to most of the city's attractions. Friendly staff (despite our very late arrival - at 3 am :) ) We have only positive impression from the hotel. Great place.
Impressed, large, clean, and well maintained very warm rooms which was a big plus as Riga was freezing!! Rates extremely great value. Friendly staff. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment. Will definitely recommend and will likely stay again on any future visits.
Spacious & clean rooms, friendly staff, near the National Gallery & Art Nouveau streets. After about 10 different accommodations tried in Riga, this is our favorite. Breakfast is tasty with enough options.
This is a lovely hotel in the better part of town away from the mayhem of Old Riga. The breakfast and wifi are great for such a budget priced hotel and the rooms are lovely with an old fashioned touch. The location has it's own nouveau gems, the bars and nightlife are much better and 'cooler' than the tourist hotspots and it's of course cheaper.
cozy hotel in the style of art nouveau. occupies several upper floors in a residential building quiet rooms with antique furniture and caring staff disadvantage - hot water is heated for a long time if I come back to Riga again, I may again choose this hotel
The staff couldn't be friendlier, the rooms are a good size as is are the bathrooms and the location is very good being very near the Latvian Museum of Art and just a few 100 metres to other places of interest.
I lived in this hotel for 2 weeks while participating in a professional development program in Riga in September 2017. The room was clean, the hotel staff were always responsive and polite, breakfast were very good (if I didn`t have to eat them for 2 weeks in a row, they would feel even better!), the hotel location and infrastructure around were also very good - the hotel is close to the city center but is in a quiet street. Disadvantages: 1) the elevator was only working till the 5th floor (out of 7) 2) There was no wifi on some floors
