The room was clean. The linens were new and fresh. The bathroom was very small but clean enough. The rooms seem to have been recently refreshed. Most importantly, to me, there are no rugs! It was fine for our overnight stay as we were passing through. We would stay again when traveling.

Not a disabled handicapped friendly venue. When I requested a room on the 1st floor due to difficulties in climbing steps I was old my reservation was on the 2nd floor, 3 flights of stairs up. Told they could not move me down to 1st floor unless I paid $51 extra. I would never use this motel again nor use EXPEDIA in the future for being associated to such an unfriendly venue for the disabled. Shame on EXPEDIA and Red Roof.

It was perfect after a long day at Kings Dominion. It was so close, you could walk to the park if you don't want to pay for parking.

Great location for access to Kings Dominion (walkable to the entrance), but the property itself is clearly old and run down. Our bed was old & squeaky, and temperature controls in the room were sparse, so we had trouble getting the room comfortable (either way too hot or way too cold).

Overall the hotel is clean and quiet place but the stuff isn’t the most helpful when it comes to getting clean towels and bedding. We stayed a total of the 8 of the 10 days planned we decided to leave early bc there were a few people that were staying there that seem to be long term guest that started to make us feel uncomfortable sitting outside the rooms all hours of the night and would walk back and forth by rooms
