I had been driving for 10 hours straight from Georgia when I exited at exit 104 in Virginia I-95 . My only plan was to fuel up and use restroom , but change of plan when I realized I was still over 300 miles from the Bronx. I went to my phone and found a few options at this exit in Ruther Glen . Comfort Inn looked to be best choice so I drove right over. I asked desk guy if they had available rooms and he said they sure did . They did not disappoint . My room was real big and very clean , as was the hotel. Vet up to date . The desk clerk was a real nice friendly guy . We checked in and walked across road to Denny`s for a quick meal . Had a great night of sleep. No I-95 noise at all . Bonus was the black out curtains in room to allow for darkness in the morning . We got up and had a nice breakfast and on the road we were. I also happened to see the indoor pool - this would be bonus for families traveling with kids . It was spotless as well . I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I had to .
Stopped to get a room after driving for hours about midnight. Quickly looked at the reviews on TripAdvisor and saw that it had decent reviews. However, when I arrived, and rented the room, the room was dirty the toilet ran all night and I just felt like it wasn't that clean. I won't be staying at a Comfort Inn again.
This is our 2nd leg of our journey from The Villages, Florida to N.Y. and didn't regret it .It's located right off I-95 as are many motels, but I found this Comfort Inn warm , as you entered the lobby. Yes, it's air conditioned, and welcoming. The staff was accomodating; the elevator worked and the rooms were modern. Best of all, tere was NO "hotel smell" in the room and around the hotel. The pool was clean and inviting. The included breakfast was really tasty and the breakfast staff kept the food warm .
Our first night stay on our trip to Florida. Very nice facility, with a friendly staff, the motel was very clean and reasonably priced. It was quiet and offered a free continental breakfast, would certainly stay here again.
Exhausted on our drive from Florida to NH, we stopped here. It was right off the highway and the lobby was updated and appealing. The front desk staff person was nice. However, the room looked like it had recently been shoddily redone. Paint smeared on walls and grout in shower. There was also soap scum on the shower walls and dusty furniture. I have to say we felt kind of nervous about the bed linens but due to exhaustion we had to hope for the best. The bed was very comfortable minus all the other discomforts.
Say your tripping down I 95 through central VA and it's late. Try this Comfort Inn. The staff is friendly, not sure about the prices though. Seemed a little high considering the location but it was tourist season. Breakfast is quite good and the hotel is reasonably clean and maintained. There is an adequate work out room and indoor pool. This particular hotel is one of 57 owned by an Indian family and, yes, many Indians were visiting at the time. The room was comfortable and quiet. I just wish they had a little competition for this truck stop community. One this is sure, compared to the Best Western at Kings Dominion just six miles south, this is MUCH BETTER! So, heading to the amusement park, do not stare there. Head up to this finer accommodation just a few miles north.
A+! The staff (front desk, housekeeping, breakfast staff) were very friendly. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, pillows plush, room was quiet, and hot and plentiful breakfast was free and delicious (6:30am-9:30am daily). The pool looked fantastic (7am-11pm daily), but we didn't have time to swim in it. Parking was free and easy, the interior and exterior of the motel was attractive, the amenities were great (coffee all day, free wifi, computer access in lobby, flat-screen TVs, completely smoke-free), and the location was perfect (quick access to interstate, Waffle House and nicely-priced Exxon right next door). If I have a reason to stay in this area again, I will definitely return to this Comfort Inn (which was very affodable; just $76 on the Saturday we visited). Thank you!
A standard in convenience but needs some new TLC. Our room had been 1/2 cleaned with the fridge and ice bucket both dirty. It seemed it had not be vacuumed as there were loose buttons and trash on the floor. The room (king suite) is large and accomodating. The breakfast is good and the coffee hot. I hope the owners put a little TLC back into the property as it is a nice place and right off the interstate close to the baseball complex.
the rooms are dirty stains on carpet, walls, showers never get cleaned. the staff is never availabe, if theyre awake AND you can understand what they are saying, they will not provide any hospitality. i was forced to stay here for a month by my employer and hated every second. - the internet never works, -tv only works in clear weather. -they fall asleep and forget to make what they call breakfast every other day. -hit and miss wakeup calls - extremely rude staff i gave them SOOO much $$$ and they treated me like crap.it took me three weeks to get a tv remote. it stinks in there, the pool is stupid small the fitness area is half the size of a small room. my company started out by renting out the entire top floor, there has been so many complaints, they have moved EVERYONE out of that hotel do yourself a favor and pay the extra $20 per night at a better place
Road trip from Florida back to Canada, we needed to stop over a few hotels. Our experience at Comfort Inn near airport in Savannah, GA was great...CLEAN, great service and breakfast. So we figured our next stop, we'll find another Comfort Inn. Well! Never ever again...I rather have slept in my car but my little ones needed a break from sitting in the car and it was so late when we stopped, I couldn't move them to another room...but why should we? It's a hotels responsibility to make sure every room is spotless and ready for the next customer! After paying $110USD, we feel soo ripped off! This room was obviously "touched up...furniture wasn't dusted, the door was filthy, the microwave door had left over food on it, the tub had a black ring and faucet wasn't even shining! A pillow had B.O. all over it, GROSS!!! And garbage was left on the floor...thankfully I took pictures to prove room #203 was an absolute mess. Thankfully, I had Lysol wipes...I could go on but I think the most important things were mentioned.
