Great Stay!

The four of us had a great time staying at this house while enjoying Ashland and the surrounding area. The neighborhood is very quiet and family friendly, and conveniently located. We found the host to be very responsive to our needs. Will gladly stay again.

One of the best, if not best places I've stayed

This is truly one of the best places we've stayed. I can't say enough good things about James and the property. It was perfect for our needs. It truly is what you should expect from a host and property. Everything was as described and it was like we were at home. James' communications is on point and he is very responsive. Being from the area, we have found our home away from home when we are back!

Fine house in nice neighborhood, close to everything

Very spacious, bedrooms were cozy and decorated very nicely. They had plenty of equipment in the kitchen to use to cook full meals and everyone enjoyed the pool table. It was nice to have a washer and dryer and we had more than enough clean linens and paper products. The oven appeared to have an issue with the controls, but were able to get around that and use it. It was nice to have the outdoor seating area and listen to the train.

Wonderful property!

My husband and I recently stayed at this property while attending a business meeting in Richmond. It was very comfortable, super clean and very quiet. James was extremely helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend this home for future guests.

Kings Dominion Trip

This was our second time staying at 8 Swanee to take the kids to Kings Dominion for a few days before school starts back up. It was just as described and close to the Park. We’d definitely stay here again!

Center of the Universe

We planned on staying in Ashland while visiting my sister nearby. The property was as advertised with pristine themed rooms. All of the beds were extremely comfortable and allowed for maximum relaxation. The host recommended a local eatery "The Caboose" approximately 7 minutes away and it was just as awesome as the residence. Definitely staying again when I visit Virgina!

Stayed for Train Day

Great place to relax and unwind. Very user friendly and room for everyone to have their own space, but also able to have time together. Worked great for us and felt like home. Easy to walk into the center of town. James was great and responded quickly to a small issue we encountered even though it was getting late. Will definitely consider staying again.

We had a wonderful time visiting family in Glen Allen from this modern, beautifully appointed home. It had everything we needed, and the host was extremely attentive and thoughtful. Highly recommend. It is quite close to downtown Ashland, and about 20 mins to Glen Allen.

Excellent and so convenient to everything.

The property was wonderful. James had everything we needed there and then some. It was just the two of us but a grandaughter and great grandson came down for 3 of our days. He loved the bunk beds and the two bathrooms were great. Beds were very comfortable and home was nicely decorated.
