The cottage was charming, tasteful midmod modern decor, in a cute neighborhood close to great food and lots of cool things to do.I subtracted a star because of an electrical issue, which made the clothes washer, dryer, and oven difficult to use. Host was attentive to the issue and attempted to get it fixed. Eventually we asked him to do so after our stay was over, so I'm sure he's working on it now.

I loved this place! What a gem. I’ve Vrbo-ed all over the world and have never felt so cared for as here! They thought of everything—from a full spice rack and cookbook, full cooking gear, gourmet teas and coffee, large coffee mugs (bless you!!!) eco-friendly/well chosen products—even tupperware and ziploc bags. wow. I genuinely felt at home. Additional bonuses: two blocks from a high-end organic grocery store, winery and bakery, great restaurants, a lap swimming pool, dance studio, and massage studio. Everything I needed and so much more within walking distance.The place itself has lots of natural light, was uber clean, comfortable bed, big backyard, beautiful trees, sweet plants, well furnished. Easy check-in, and Jason was super responsive. 5 stars all around. Sad to leave and definitely will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was so cute, spotless and modern. Everything was thoughtfully prepared. The bed was really comfy and I felt very rested - it usually never happens to me in a new environment! It’s clear that a lot of care went into making guests feel at home.The location couldn’t have been better. Whether we were exploring nearby restaurants and shops or just enjoying the quiet evenings, it was the best of both worlds.Jason was an exceptional host! He was friendly, communicative, and always quick to respond. We’d happily come back again!u

Gorgeous home and experience overall. The host put us at ease, quickly answering every question I had during the booking process. I was thrilled to walk in and see that the house is exactly like the pictures. It's so new and squeaky clean. The place is a couple blocks from this fantastic spot called Cerrito Natural Grocery and their adjoining Annex deli/restaurant. I would have loved another night here. We'll definitely try and book this one again the next time were in the East Bay.
