The local 18th century inn serves excellent food whilst Reeth has everyday shopping, craft shops, pubs and tea rooms. Richmond with its Georgian theatre, along with Leyburn and Hawes are just a short drive away. Arkengarthdale is a truly unspoilt corner of Yorkshire with walks from the doorstep across hills and moorland or make a journey over the Stang to the market town of Barnard Castle.
