We fell in love with the property, the restaurant staff and everyone was super accommodating. Alec was the highlight of our stay! However the room was so incredibly small that we could barely move in it. We were so cramped that we only stayed one night instead of two. We never asked for a refund we just left. So you know it’s bad when you leave this heavenly paradise because of the room accommodations

Sabina was a great host. Made sure everything about our stay was perfect. Answered all of our questions about the area. Restaurant was delicious and even had live music Saturday night. Room was perfect and location on the lake is amazing. Loved the common areas on both floors where you can hang out, wish more people did that. Down by the lake they lit fire pits where you could end the day on a perfect note. Very close to Cooperstown (Baseball HOF) and Fly Creek Cider Mill which is not to be missed. Went twice. Will definitely try to go back again soon.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Lake House. The room was cozy and spotless, and the staff were friendly and always helpful with our travel questions. The restaurant was excellent—everything we tried was delicious, especially the French onion soup (a must-try!). Guests can also use the lodge’s kayaks, which I thought was such a wonderful bonus. The location is convenient too—just a short drive from Cooperstown. Overall, it’s a perfect place to stay!

Baseball getaway

Charming lakeside inn with the perfect blend of modern (WiFi) and rustic vintage character. A great room for our family of 3. The room was compact and clean; the bathroom and closet were spacious. The staff was super friendly and gracious, the central sitting area was comfortable, and the morning coffee was tasty. A picturesque 20-minute drive to the Baseball Hall of Fame through winding country roads.
