House overlooking the sea for 2 people in a unique and amazing location.
The writer Giuseppe Berto was so enchanted by the beauty of Capo Vaticano that once he discovered 'his' paradise he never left it. In the 1950s he built 8 houses in one of the most beautiful places in Capo Vaticano. Each home is different and the garden is filled with typical Mediterranean plants and flowers and also has a vegetable garden where guests can pick seasonal vegetables. All the houses have a beautiful view of the sea and the Aeolian Islands.

Il Night is where Berto used to write. The house is on the peak of a cliff with a 180 degree view of the bay, the sea, and the Aeolian islands. In the evenings, one can watch the amazing sunset. The house is simple yet its location and view are unique. From the terrace one enters the living room which has a double bed, and downstairs there is a small kitchen and bathroom with shower.

This home is ideal for those searching for a romantic place in a quiet, peaceful and private setting surrounded by the sun, sea and sky. If you are looking for a more luxurious accommodation, this place isn't for you.
On the property, there is a private path with 400 steps leading to one of the most beautiful beaches in southern Italy.

Not sure I can come up the right words to describe this property. I will give it a try anyhow. Perched on a cliff with priceless 360 degree views of the Mediterranean, views of Sicily, Stromboli island and the lush hills to the east it is a magical spot indeed. Looking down from the no less than four terraces one can see the multiple hues of the water below as well as the private beach. It is a rustic house for sure but that is a part of the appeal. Stairs to the beach are a challenge but well worth it. We've stayed at many secluded beach properties but this one is definitely the best so far.

Für Puristen und Nostalgiker

Wir hatten geplant für eine Woche in dieser Unterkunft zu sein. Das "Appartment" ist wirklich super-winzig und sehr, sehr alt. Im EG ist ein kleinstes Schlafzimmer, im UG ein Tisch und ein Kühlschrank, in einem Aussenzimmer ist eine kleine Küche und in einem anderen Aussenzimmer Dusche/WC. Leider waren wir mit der gesamten Sauberkeit überhaupt nicht zufrieden und das hat nichts mit dem Alter des Häuschens zu tun. Der Aussenbereich ist sensationell (wunderbare Aussicht, 400 Stufen weiter unten ein herrlicher Privatstrand. Das Häuschen funktioniert für Puristen bei schönem Wetter. Wir haben leider Regen erwischt und an mehreren Orten hat es sogar durch das Dach reingeregnet. Wenn es regnet, kann man in diesem Häuschen wirklich nichts mehr machen, darum sind wir nach zwei Nächten vorzeitig abgereist.
