Lovely house in peaceful location
A traditional country cottage in a peaceful rural setting, just a short distance from Ribadesella and the coast. It is quite simply furnished but with everything you need for comfort - comfy beds, good heating, limitless hot water, washing machine etc.
The house was spotlessly clean, and Marian is an excellent host, a lovely person and responsive to any query.
Although the motorway is quite close you would not know it from the house . It has beautiful views in all directions and all you can hear is birdsong and sometimes the sea.
There is another rental house next door but this was not a problem at all - there are separate garden areas and plenty of parking space, and the houses do not directly overlook each other.
The location is perfect for exploring this part of Asturias. Ribadesella itself is lovely, with a stunning beach and sea front, plus many bars and restaurants in the port and old town areas.
We also did some great bike rides straight from the house, on quiet roads and tracks along the coast and up into the hills.
