The Hotel is well based in the Centre of Mannheim and it is walking distance from the main Train Station (without luggage though). There was an issue when I arrived but all staff members were ready and helpful to sort things out, thank you. I had breakfast one morning and it was lovely. Only sort of negative note is that water and coffee/tea in the room are not free as in the UK, and they are not cheap either. However I had a very good 3 nights staying.
We spent 2 nights in the hotel and we had a great stay. The staff was very friendly. We stayed in a superior room, which was very spacious, well, the dark brown decoration is something you need to get used to it,feels a bit gloomy in the beginning, but it was ok. Bathroom was also big, even had a digital scale!Bed was very comfortable, Parking is free, there is coffee making facilities and free water and apple juice in the fridge, which is also nice. I would stay there again:)
Your premise needs a complete overhaul in every aspect including guest service and greeting. Bedrooms needs modernisation and new furniture. Staff could be more welcoming upon arrival. There is too many things to mention. Overall the hotel lacks any quality objectivity. Staff were good tho, just missing a friendly hospitality touch.
The room was very clean and spacious, staff helpful, breakfast was good and with good variety, and the location suited my purpose. However, the room was very hot and not really possible to cool down by opening the window. The provided table fan did not solve the problem - with poor sleep as a result. The internet connection in the room was unstable - I had to repeat the login procedure every time I needed to use it.
Stayed for 2 nights and the only good thing was the comfortable bed. On the minus side much: Stains on walls, scraces on walls, shower did not drain properlyl, bathroom without air, breakfast that costs 14.90 euros. I did not appreciate the decor, but this is asubjective matter, someone could like it. It is very dark and makes you very uncomfortable. Would not stay there again.
Staying in hotel in the month of June with no air conditioning was tough. A hotel of this quality, i had expected air conditioning to be normal but was disappointed to find out there was a small fan in the room which wasnt sufficient.
Location was not great (far off from everything) - Parking was available for appxoimately 15-20 cars depending on size - and even after requesting a slot for parking, this was not available due to another person parking a mini cooper on 2 spots - hotel staff did not try to resolve this issue. I was told to "Simply drive up 2 blocks and park in the parking hall, its not a long walk" (15minutes with luggage is not what i expected when booking a hotel like this). Drinking glasses are just above the toilet - extremely unhygienic. Decoration very dark and depressing.
Myself and three colleagues had business in the Mannheim area over the holiday weekend and caught the street party in the town. This was very good and well worth being in Mannheim at the time, with plenty of good live music, food and drink. The hotel was well away from the noise and therefore quiet, but within walkable distance to the main part of town. The rooms are clean, reasonably well equipped and the breakfast adequate. For a quick two night stay for a business trip it is more than satisfactory for the price.
Close to everything, in the corner of the Synagogue. Big family room, well equipped, but no fridge. Poor lighting in the room. Comfortable beds, soft sheets, large bathroom. Well located with excellent breakfast paid separately. The wifi does not work well in the rooms, and you need to put the password every time you lock your phone. The only negative point is the laundry service, done outside the hotel and extremely expensive.
What a terrible experience for s business trip with narrow dry worn beds, not good room smell, every wall dirty an deteriorated, darker rooms also stinky, bathroom door can not be opened because hits the sink, wardrobe does not allow to hang any close because security box is not conveniently located, internet limited to broadband for Skype, bad with streaming and no English TV channel st all, very poor almost Continental breakfast but extremely expensive, located one block away of police station and obviously not so secure, close to Middle East neighborhood and poor buildings. I was recommended not to come to this hotel but being an American franchise it is almost impossible to believe it. Look for another hotel just I will do now.
