Our room was facing inside the courtyard and was very quiet. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar with accommodating, friendly and wonderful staff. For travelers who do not speak Spanish, Selina at the front desk is the person you want to be friends with! She is awesome! The king size bed was the perfect softness with lots of pillow choices for a great sleep. The bathroom and amenities are typical of a Holiday Inn. Room service was fast and friendly too. This is the only hotel I would stay at in this city.
A nice and clean hotel in the center of Reynosa with bar and restaurant. Shuttle available to the nearby restaurants and plazas. Great customer service and rewards points. Won't recommend to go out at night but the hotel is a safe place
We were lost in Mexico and saw this Holiday Inn! Without hesitation we were greeted warmly and directions were given to us. Julio was tremendous, promoting us to stay there next time and based on the welcome, we just may do that. We had lunch in the Agave restaurant and it was delicious!!! Go there for sure if you are heading to the business park. Service was fantastic and the food portions very generous. Everyone enjoyed there meal and it was top notch!
There where hairs in the bathroom before unpacked, definitely not what it used to be 5 years ago, nice Area but it's a shame it dropped its standard for the price it leaves so much to ask for. Recommend to inspect the room before staying here again.
We stay here often when in town. Clean, safe. Small exercise room. Nice pool area. We eat breakfast across the street at Cafe Paris, which has the cafe lechero. Hotels.com gives the best price thus far.
Expensive for being an average, I didn't pay it thou. Breakfast was not free. Kind of lower high, but less than what the company paid for. Then I have to write more to summit the review, like if I was going to go more into details, so here is a handful of nothing.
While not outstanding, this place does not leave a bad impression either. Its leading quality is its proximity to the business park, which removes the necessity to cross the border/bridge every day back to Texas (thus saving 1-2 hrs of commute per day).
Visit the room, make sure everything works, lights, AC, toilet, shower, hot water, etc. 24 hours and 5 complaints to fix a leaky toilet, two days stay never got hot water. worse, they knew about both conditions when room was rented and not alone as other guests in same situation Reasonable restaurant, friendly people. will i go back? No
friendly staff good for the price very good food close to anything you need from the outside
This is an HI franchise operation, by some local Mexican operator. It shows. The outside and the lobby are fine. But the room I had was dowdy, with makeshift repairs to the bathroom and plumbing. Open the faucet, and out comes 'water' — and the unmistakable smell of [---]. Dinner was OK-to-good; with a notably helpful waiter. Breakfast was inedible. There were 9 hot dishes on offer, all suffering from added Jalapeno peppers. Yes — even in the scrambled eggs. I managed to find some muesli mix which - once I'd filtered out all the peanuts - was edible. That was it. Then the fun started; I couldn't check out. Every time they tried to put through one of my credit cards, it came back 'Rejected'. I phoned both my banks; both confirmed that they had not rejected any payments - because they had not received any payment request. It took 30 minutes then, and a further hour later on, before they had to admit that their connection to the credit card centre was not working. Overall, Reynosa is one the nastiest maquiladora towns I've seen. And this hotel did not improve things much.
