Iceland Trip

This property was safe, located in a great spot for walking around the city, shopping restaurants. It is also located a 1 min walk to a common tour pick up spot at Bus Stop #9. We are a family of 5 and had more than enough space to sleep, eat some meals and relax. Thankful for a wonderful trip!

Great location!

We loved the location to see the best of the town in the day that we had prior to boarding our crusie ship. With 5 of use hotels were very pricy, so we booked this. We needed to get in at 7am when our flight arrived so we booked the night before. I never got a response from the host on how to get in until about 24 hours in advance, so coming from another county without the ability to call the host to make sure we would be able to get in was VERY stressful to the point I wouldn't book again. The apartment was nice, pretty clean, just a bottom sheet for the bed (all twins) and a comforter, but it worked because we were tired! The shades aren't black out, so be ready for the light during the night. :) One room has no windows and great for kids! There are multiple doors you use and steps you have to climb (you can call the elevator up for your luggage, but someone has to walk up first). Great location, not good communication.

Downtown Reykjavík

Our overall impression of the flat was very impressed. It was a central location with with parking, and restaurants and bars on every corner. There was a food hall down the block. It was centrally located and close to everything. We would come back late in the evening and could always find parking. The flat was clean and had all the basics we needed. It was comfortable for 4 adult sized people. A little hard with just one bathroom and shower, but try finding a place with two bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Iceland.

Great spot in Reykjavik

This place has an incredible location and was clean and beds were very comfortable! Communication with the owner could be better (took days sometimes to answer and a little unsettling coming from out of country). Only other suggestion may be a welcome booklet (with how to work things, etc) and maybe a roll or two of toilet paper and paper towels. Other than that, would recommend for a stay!

Good location/apt but lack communication from manager

I would have rated my experience at this property as 5 stars except for the lack of communications with the property manager. We received check-in instruction in the late afternoon before our rental date. Being a foreign traveler coming off a cruise ship, it was a bit unnerving not hearing from the property manager regarding our questions until much later in the day. If you don't mind the lack of communications, then this property will be good.

Great location, cute place, few quirks

Located on the main shopping strip, fun shops and bars and restaurants. 3 bedrooms with plenty of space. The pictures of the doors/locks for checking in were super helpful. A few quirks: there was no laundry detergent, 1 dish towel and no other paper towels/napkins, and no coffee (it's a nespresso that takes pods and there was only granulated coffee and no French press) so either come prepared or be ready to walk down to the convenience store. We didn't get the instructions on where to park or how to get in until after checkin time so communication felt kind of funky knowing we were driving for 4 hours to Reykjavik and weren't sure where to go when we got into town. I'd messaged the owner a few times and didn't hear back until I tracked him down on What's App. Place was clean except the cleaning staff must have forgotten the laundry room which previous guests had left covered in black sand. Other than those things, it was a decent place to stay with a cute balcony to enjoy on a nice day.

It was great

Use of the elevator was tricky, three flights of stairs. Use of appliance was European, was tricky, but got use to it. could have had more electrical outlets. Needs a table or bench for suitcases in two of the bedrooms. Loved the mud room and use of washer and dryer. Key security was GREAT, especially with member or family coming and going.

Great Reykjavík option

This place is very nice, great views and so convenient. We walked to everything we wanted to see. Restaurants, shopping and groceries were so closed. Highly recommend.

Perfect Location

Had 4 friends staying here for 5 nights and found this apartment to be almost perfect. Despite having only 1 bathroom, it worked! The location is less than 1 block from the bus stop for most sightseeing tours, your on the major shopping street and more than enough restaurants to fit your tastebuds. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen appliances, plates, dishes, etc.The only thing missing is an ironing board and iron but again we managed. Highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Reykjavík

Very nice apartment

The location is excellent, with many great restaurants close by. Very clean, with good amenities. On site parking is convenient. The WIFI took many attempts to connect, on several devices but worked fine once connected. The host was not as responsive and helpful as we have experienced in other rentals in Iceland and other countries.

great location and apartment

Great location on main street of Reykjavik 101. Convenient to shops, dining, bars, etc., but not in a noisy section. Property manager prefers phone calls over Vrbo email system, which can be tricky for international guests. This improved over our stay. Check-in process was documented well, but a previous guest had lost the keys, so apartment needed a new lock upon arrival. I assume that will not be an issue for futur guests.

Our group of six loved this property! The location is amazing. Very close to all the shopping and dining and a short walk to the water. It was very clean and equipped for a comfortable stay. The back bedroom was cold but there was a space heater which made all the difference. We just loved it!

Great comfort and location for seeing Reykjavik in its best light

Second stay in Iceland but first in the heart of the city. Pleasantly surprised by location by main walking street. Surrounded by loads of food choices and retail options. Unit is super comfortable and quiet.
